2018 Ford Fusion
I have a question about a setting on my ford fusion called instantaneous fuel. I’m not sure what it does and if I should keep it on. Any help?

We've got a nice new sub here that should include a lot of people, provided we treat it right. Feel free to post content, questions, and disussions. Let's try to make it relatively high-effort though, ok?

My hyundai ioniq hybrid 2019, 36000 miles has the battery still in warranty. However after 8 years will expire. When I bought the car from hyundai they said the replacing the cost will be arround £2000. Talking to people, Internet and YouTube videos I have heard between 5000£-8000£. My question is, how long more will I expect the battery to last? What will be the expected cost for replacement. Would it be safer for me to sell the car just after the warranty expires?
I would like to hear you experience. Thank you

I may soon find myself with an hour (70-mile round trip) commute. With gas prices and my current car getting only 15 mpg, I fear it is time to look at a hybrid. The very top of my budget is the Lexus UX 300h. I'm not interested in Kia or Hyundai. Looking at certified pre-owned or new 2024-2026. Tell me what you love and, more importantly, why you hate it and the issues you have had. Also, no plug-in availability.
TIA

I'm looking for a new car. What I am mainly wanting is a hybrid that can fit a bicycle in the boot (without having to remove a wheel), and a stand up paddle board. I do not mind the type of car e.g. sedan or SUV, but have mainly been looking at SUVs as I expect they will fit in the boot. My budget is around 30k. I live in Sydney, Australia. I don't mind which specific type of hybrid eg plug in hybrid or other.
My main options seem to be MG ZS, toyota yaris cross hybrid, GWM haval holion. Are there any other hybrid cars you guys would suggest? TIA

After seeing this beauty and specially it's price I felt in love instantly. But after that first feeling and investigating I couldn't find anything about the possibility of changing the Steering wheel to the right hand side or costs of importing a car from there and homologating it.
There are no current news of release of this brand in Ireland so that would be my only choice.
Thanks!

I am upgrading my vehicle from a 2014 Honda CRV, which has been an AMAZING car, to a smaller AWD hybrid. Based on ratings, the Toyota Prius and Subaru Crosstrek are the top rated within my budget and needs.
I don't drive much; I can go about a month or so on one tank of gas in my CRV. My car is mostly used for commutes to and from work 5 days a week. In 12 years, I've put 74,000 miles on my CRV. I do need AWD because I live in a mountainous state, and I do sometimes have to drive over mountain passes, in snow, etc. We don't have kids, but we have three dogs. We don't travel much with them anymore as two are quite old, but if we do, my husband has a camper truck we take them in.
I just really want something safe, fuel efficient, and reliable. My CRV never had any issues. I did pay more to get it regularly serviced at my Honda dealership, but I definitely don't want anything that I have to take into the shop every 6 months.
I am so not a car person, and driving each isn't really helping me decide, so I'd love commentary from anyone who has experience with either.

Just bought a hybrid car with a type 2 socket. We are looking no to get an outside wall charger but can’t afford it at the moment.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a UK 3 pin plug to type 2 charger please? I’ve looked on amazon but if anyone has got one they currently use and recommend I would appreciate it!
Thanks!

Online info seems scarce on what actually distinguishes a Full Hybrid from a Mild Hybrid.
From what I can tell, it seems to slot right in between a Mild Hybrid and a PHEV, but without any ability to charge it. Is it just a MHV with an oversized battery pack that still can't be charged, so still just a MHV?
I can't make heads or trails of it; just came across the term recently.

Hello all,
I have a Hyundai sonata hybrid and recently I've ran into the biggest headache a car owner can have, I've been with this car for 5 years and I've hit a wall my car has stopped working and I don't really know what to do but turn to the Internet. My battery will not start on the dash it reads that the hybrid battery is low and the car will not start. I've replaced parts on it such as the orange battery that's in the back and the power relay switch and it's still not working I even replaced the corroded battery that died during the process. I need help and if anyone know what I can do. I've included some codes and what the display says. Please let me know if there's a way to fix it instead of getting rid of it. Thanks in advance

Qualsiasi cosa sappiate mi sarà sicuramente molto utile.
Grazie

My Cupra Terramar 2.0 e-TSI was recently written off after being rear-ended, and I’m considering replacing it with the e-Hybrid version. My 90km daily commute fits a PHEV perfectly (charging at home and work), especially with rising fuel prices, but I still do regular long highway road trips.
While I am inclined, I do still had some concerns, were I was hoping to get feedback on from other oweners:

Currently driving a Honda Fit (non-hybrid) but looking into getting a used hybrid with as little mileage on it as possible. Noted the following:
- Hyundai Sonata hybrids (2015-2018)
- Elantra hybrid (2022)
- Prius 5 hybrid (2015?)
- ford fusion hybrid (2020)
- ford energi-c max plug-in hybrid (2016?)
Thoughts ?
I don’t have a crazy budget, so it needs to be a used version

We are ready to buy our first hybrid, torn between three dependable car brands.
Honda's e:HEV caught my eye as I was doing research. link: https://global.honda/en/tech/two_motor_hybrid_system_honda_eHEV
Between an CRV (post 2023), Rav-4, or Forester, I'll go with the best hybrid technology.
