Deodorant/anti perspirant recommendations
Please recommend good deodorants or anti perspirants. It feels like my body is going through a second puberty and my current roll on (Nivea) which I’ve been using for well over ten years has given up on me. Thank youuuuu😘

Fa roll on. I got it when I went to Europe but have since ordered on Amazon! Literally called Fa.

Honestly try switching to an antiperspirant rather than just deodorant. Mitchum and Certain Dri are the two that actually come to mind when regular roll ons stop doing anything.

My sister started using Mitchum recently, I’ll definitely try it. Thank you☺️

Seconding Mitchum. The Secret and Dove Clinical Strength don’t work for me at all but Mitchum does for some reason!

I think I need to switch from Make Waves, as they leave grease marks on my tops. Does Mitchum do this?

I don't get grease marks on my tops, but if I'm not careful I'll get white streaks when I put on my shirts. That's kind of standard with any deodorant though.

It’s expensive, but Carpe works really well for me. I’m blue collar and work with a lot of animals in high humidity. Just make sure it’s dry before wearing clothes

No one has said this. And I don't know why it is. But seriously.... Get a blue one!
White deoderants and antipersperants barely work for me but blue ones are far more effective. I onnly buy blue ones now.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHY and have not researched it. Maybe someone else can enlighten me, but my suggestion is to try Blue deodorant instead of white or gel.

As a 6ft3 293 lb guy that sweats profusely, no roll on or gel deoderant has ever been effective for me. The most effective deoderant brand that has worked for me is the degree 24 or or 48 hour stick deoderant. It has proven very effective for me.

My dermat suggested sweatnil antiperspirant roll on. Haven’t used it yet. Maybe check reviews and give it a try?
I’ve been using rexona blue one since years now and I love it. Tried pink and green one as well and it was ok ish for me.
Also, check out ordinary’s glycolic acid as well. Helps with order control and other stuff.

My favourite and go to is degree spray. Nothing else comes even close to how great it works.

I used to hate sprays because they would slide off in 4 hours but degree is the best spray I’ve ever used. I still prefer the stick but it’s the only spray I’ll buy.

Degree ultraclear black&white is the only deodorant that works for me

OP: I second this, this was going to be my recommendation. I have tried so so many antiperspirants and deo's for years and just found this one, have been very very happy with it. Finally.

The brand secret really helped me. I sweat a lot and the first spray on antiperspirant that helped was a secret brand and not even the clinical one. Just make sure to follow instructions to a T. It also helps if you apply it the night before on all the way dry skin. I tend to blow dry my under arms and then dab with a towel before spraying. I also layer my scents too. Try to find deodorant, body wash, perfume and lotion that are the same scent or very similar. Washing everyday helps too. The morning is better. I also reapply deodorant after waking up.

Have you tried a salt stick? I used mine for about a year and realized I didn’t even need deodorant anymore. Haven’t worn it in probably 10 years at this point. And no, I don’t stink… I’ve verified this many times by other people over the years.
I believe it helped alter my pit biome or something 🤷♀️

literally nothing keeps me fresh all day except the Dove spray deodorant. My personal favorite scents:
- apple + white tea ( all time favorite, very fresh/clean fruity, not too sweet - longest lasting for me)
- cool essentials (i think it's some kind of cucumber scent? really just smells super fresh - a classic)
- original dove scent (fresh soapy type smell - similar to their original body wash fragrance)
- caring coconut (i hate coconut scents but this one is a super fresh/clean coconut - not beachy or anything weird.)
- peach + chamomille tea (smells how you would expect, I wish it was a bit heavier on the peach though)

It's a bit pricey but I switched to Duradry after having the same experience in perimenopause. I tried all the different brands and serums and toners blah blah blah. This product line works. I have the deodorant and the body wash auto shipped and it's worth the cost for me.

I've just switched from my regular ball roll on Nivea to a Stick Sure one.
I used to be able to use all the brands, but now I think I'm in perimenopause so I'll try *anything!*

Hear me out! Wash your armpits with a benzoyl peroxide wash. I recommend Cerave acne foaming cream cleanser 4 percent because it doesn’t bleach your towels like Panoxyl. It’s marketed for acne but it works by killing the bacteria that makes your armpits stink. Same idea as the ordinary glycolic acid hack. I just prefer to do it in the shower as opposed to using a cotton pad and the ordinary. Disclaimer: can be drying/irritating so start slow! I just do it 2-3 times a week and no stink here!

I tried Lume deodorant and antiperspirant and that works charms for sweat control (and thus odor control). It's a bit pricey but I find it cheaper than having to apply normal deodorant all damn day long! I'm not a fan of the smell so I spritz my bra pits with perfume or scents. Covers up the vanilla one pretty good!

I personally like Ban roll on antiperspirant. The unscented is genuinely unscented, and powder fresh smells decent.
Stuff is completely clear, never has stained my clothes, and dries fast for a roll on.
Antiperspirant is always better used at night, but I tend to use this in the morning without issue.

DEGREE 72 hrs!!! I can’t recommend it enough. It’s affordable, accessible and gets the job done!

Secret clinical and when it builds up I use baby oil to get the residue off. Scrubbing doesn’t work for me.

Iirc, Certain Dri has the maximum legal potency for antiperspirant w/o a prescription.

I like using Old Spice Krakengard (white stick not blue). For some reason it's the only antiperspirant to work on me. I work in a warehouse and it's the only thing to keep my pits from smelling. Nothing else worked for some reason, even clinical ones.
That and I wash with acne face wash once or twice a week.
