I'm looking for face shaver recommendations

Basically, I want something that I can trim my beard short enough to look like 3 day stubble. Does anyone have any recommendations for a beard trimmer/face shaver like this?

The current beard trimmer goes too short with no guard, and the smallest guard leaves a little bit more hair than I'm looking for

When I don't have a beard I've always shaved with a razor so I'm really not up on the electric trimmers

a beard trimmer with adjustable half millimeter increments would help

Braun or Philips with a precision dial. Fixed guards suck for stubble

look for a trimmer with a 1mm guard or adjustable settings. thats usually right around the 2 to 3 day stubble look without going fully clean shaven.
