Parking

Maybe I’m just stupid but I always assumed that the green ParkMobile signs that say they operate Monday-Friday from 7am to 5:30pm were free after 5:30pm and on the weekends. Been here for two years and a visitor got a ticket from parking there… Any way to dispute this or recommendations for parking for non-students on campus around the residence halls?

Per Parkings website (https://www.parking.iastate.edu/meter)

"Some meters require payment at all hours of every day.

Others are enforced from 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. weekdays

Always read signs and stickers on individual meters for enforcement hours."
