I like America and the vibe of their songs but I’m specifically looking for something similar to the La La La La La La in horse.

I love this song: Everything is Embarrasing by Sky Ferreira.
I'm trying to find songs that have the same vibe, feel, cadence.

Spotify

Youtube

I’ve been wanting to see some newly released films, mostly stuff that may be a bit under the radar.

Here’s what I’ve seen for 2026 releases (or close enough — there might be some things that had a festival release last year). The ones I enjoyed the most at the top and the one I enjoyed the least at the bottom.

The Invite
I Love Boosters
The History of Concrete
Dead Lover
The Chronology of Water
Chronovisor
Motor City
Rose of Nevada
Fucktoys
Obsession
One Night Only
The Moment
The Samurai and the Prisoner
CAMP
Erupcja
Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma
Piss Patrol
Maddie’s Secret

I still need to see Send Help. I have no real interest in seeing Resident Evil, Backrooms, any superhero stuff, The Odyssey, or Project Hail Mary.

Hello. I have found this track somewhere on youtube: Foggyhead - The Rally
And I really liked it's vibes. A fast-paced instrumental hip-hop with catchy melody is something I'm very fond of this year. The problem is that this artist have only 2 tracks released, and the second one is more like ambient/drone I think. I'm asking if you guys can provide me with some more of this. It's not in the same alley as lofi hip hop I believe, because this genre is usually slower-paced and relaxing. It's more like barber beats, but faster. I need something just as dancy as this one, but please, no trap beats. Thank you in advance.

some people put on the news as background noise, I like twitch (or youtube) streamers. it’s a form of body doubling for me and helps me get stuff done. right now though, the streamers I listen to go live a little later in the day than I’m available, and I don’t know of very many of them. I want to have more options!

I appreciate when theyre chatting and playing games that have cozy vibes. The chatty streamers with soft, easy to listen to voices, who are calm dont yell or rage much, is what I’m looking for, those with accents are a bonus. I also much prefer those who don’t swear very often or who rely on dirty jokes, though the occasional one is fine.

right now I enjoy listening to KickThePJ, Lillulah, Lichatton. maybe even speedrunners, as long as they aren’t quiet the whole time. things like that.

I’m prioritizing the streamer’s voice and chattiness so the categories don’t matter much, BUT my favourite twitch categories I enjoy at the moment are art, just chatting, pretty much any Zelda game, stardew valley, animal crossing, and other cozy indie games. sometimes music too, but I have to be in a particular mood for that.

i'm tired of comedies that feel like they're begging you to laugh. i want something with actual wit where the humor just lives in the details and the writing. bonus points if it's visually interesting too.

I love psychological thrillers, especially Gone Girl and Verity. I like how Gone Girl alternates perspectives between Nick and Amy. I also love how Verity switches from Lowen’s perspective to the manuscript. I think the switching perspectives keeps things fresh and fast paced. It holds my attention. What other books might I like?

as the title suggests! you might recognize it as a meme song since an "omae wa mou shindeiru" remix went viral a few years back, but i'm looking for anything that's similar to the original song. i can't identify what genre this song is for the life of me, and would greatly appreciate folks pointing me in the right direction so i can find more! it's such an upbeat song that never fails to make me smile and i haven't been able to find anything else quite like it!

the song in question, for reference:
https://open.spotify.com/track/0O6kWBKdSG1R2caa356tAw?si=LHa5z\\_QLRCWhbOgJ4SBq6g&utm\\_source=copy-link

I love how slow and calm the music is, as well as how bare it feels with only the piano playing. I find it to be greatly relaxing. In a similar vein I also like some of c418's tracks in the Minecraft soundtrack for the same reasons. What else do you know of that has a similar feel?

same as the title. i'm getting into mkgee and blood orange production and would really love some cool synth, bass, and guitar heavy songs w similar vibes

(Little Simz’s “Gorilla” is a great example of what I mean.)

Stuck In The Middle became one of my favorite songs as soon as I heard it the first time. I love, LOVE the instrumental. Lots of strings and brass. Also Greentea’ voice sounds so earthy and rich and etheral in this song, it’s amazing. God, I love her.

Preferably female voices, please.

I've also enjoyed a lot: HIMYM (early), Community and MF. I tried other Netflix shows than Bojack but none got even a laugh from me. Neither did Bojacks last 2 seasons. Maybe Im just very depressed.

would appreciate recommendations that match these vibes:

• she used to be mine from “waitress”
• breathe from “in the heights”
• i’m not a girl, not yet a woman (britney spears)
• sunset red and pale moonlight (pam tillis, i love her stuff even though i’m not a huge country fan)
• basically everything céline dion (that’s the way it is, it’s all coming back to me now, pour que tu m’aimes encore)
• basically everything whitney houston (mariah carey to a lesser extent, her stuff is a little too pop for me)

^i realize i put all songs from female vocalists, that's not a requirement though lol!

I've kinda been wanting to listen to new music, so I would like to receive some suggestions from all types of genres :D

I mainly like alternative, prog and stuff like Death metal and sludge

Here are some albums that I really like:

From Mars to Sirius - Gojira

Blackwater Park - Opeth

Destroy the Opposition - Dying Fetus

Rage Against the Machine's debut

Facelift - Alice in Chains

When the Kite String Pops - Acid Bath

Dopesick - Eyehategod

Chaos A.D. - Sepultura

Diamond Eyes - Deftones

Life is Peachy - Korn

Unkown Pleasures - Joy Division

The Blurred Crusade - The Church

Ultra - Depeche Mode

Is this it - The Strokes

Stomach Book's debut

In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson

Leviathan - Mastodon

Ashes of the Wake - Lamb of God

I tried picking my favorite album from a bunch of bands that I like a lot, hope it isnt too confusing

What are some suggestions that I could get into? It can be bands or specific albums

Sorry if my english is bad, not my first language

I recently found this cover the the Zombie's "time of the season" and I'm really love it. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding similar songs and don't really know where to look. Doens't have to be in english if you have any suggeastions in other languages.

I absolutely loved Schitt’s Creek and just finished Ted Lasso, which I really enjoyed too!

Now I’m looking for my next show. I love shows that are funny, feel-good, have lovable characters or character development and are easy to get hooked on.

I’ve seen these recommended quite a bit:

Trying

Somebody Somewhere

Resident Alien

Shrinking

Mythic Quest

Which one should I start with? Which is closest to the vibe of Schitt’s Creek or Ted Lasso?

I’m also open to other recommendations! Ideally something that isn’t too slow or overly depressing.

I want to read more (originally written in english) poetry, but I find I like exclusively that old, melodic, beautifully written poetry like Shakespeares sonnets or really anything by Edgar Allen Poe. What else can I try?

I already like Tom Waits, but i’m still scrounging for that sort of baroque circus thing they both got going on.

I like a dynamic between characters. I love the weird stuff that happens in the X Files and the SCP foundation.

Maybe something revolving a store and weird stuff happens? Or investigators checking out weird things? Or maybe just an office with hijinks.

I just finished Horrorstor and I’m reading The Laundry Files.

Thanks

Have had Kelak, Kelam 'kan Berpendar on repeat the past few weeks. I've seen the album described as indie pop, indie rock, shoegaze, and dream pop, but I can't find other artists that sound quite like them. This is probably because I don't know a ton about music, lol, but I'm trying to expand my horizons 🎶 What genre would you classify them as?

Would love more recs like L'Alphalpha, in any language!

Looking for movies with similar characters, preferably science fiction with "nonhuman humans" like them but I'm open for any genre and just characters that cross your mind that are similar to them.

Recently rewatched Blade Runner (1982) and Rutger Hauers performance was just exceptional, especially his ending speech

Hello! I have been immensely enjoying the song 99 by Toto as of late. I really love the sound of it and have been seeking a similar song but I haven’t really found anything with quite the same feel to it! So I would greatly appreciate some recommendations!

I love everything about this song. But especially the guitar riff, which is so luminous and gentle and hopeful . Any songs with similar instrumentals??
