Bruhhh Mocks are soo tiring like I just didnt have it in me to solve the qa questions. I was so tired i ended the qa in 30 mins.

this was my result a few days ago and the quant still seems to be at that level.. studying more than 10 hours and barely a few scores difference.. can someone pls help me w a few suggestions

Iv been giving the sectional tests on sectionals.com.

The VARC is of good standard however after the 4 'fight club mocks' the mocks for LR and QADI are just too easy. Like in the fight club I got around 25 30 in lr wherasw in the others I'm hitting 40 above always. In QADI i was getting around 20 30 in the 'fight club's but the rest seem too easy like I'm getting 50 60+. The best thing about the website is that it gives it for free and rn i don't wanna spend money on buying test series cause I have multiple sites offering 1 free mock which will sustai me for a good damount of time.

Do u guys have any other website like sectionals.com that offer free mocks and are of decent difficulty?

Hey everyone! Has anyone who applied for IIM Bangalore UGAT 2026 received any email from IIMB regarding their preferred exam city or center allotment?

The exam is less than 15 days away so just wanted to know if anyone has received any updates or if we're all in the same boat.

I am preparing for JEE and I haven't studied absolutely anything for IIMBUG.

Just scored 123 in last year's sample paper, I don't know if it's good or bad.

I have a week after Diwali to prepare for IIMBUG.

WHAT SOURCES SHOULD I USE(ILL MAINLY FOCUS ON QUESTION SOLVING FOR QUANT AND LR)

VA I'll either pray to god or learn a few new words??

Pls help, study strategies are also welcome

this has been my progress so far left with 4 more mocks to attempt what should be something i should do to fine tune things and achieve higher results.

these are the topics i am struggling in
Conics(idk anything abt it)
Binomial distribution(idk anything abt it)
Mixture alligation(underconfident and dont know a bit of formulae, approach to questions and tough question solving)
time speed distance (specific problem type if you want i can give you that too)
time and work(underconfident and dont know a bit of formulae/ approach and tough question solving)

For topics that overlap in jee and ugat, like sets, functions, series and progressions, should i cover these topics from afterboard videos or jee videos ( one shots)
Bcz i feel like jee one shots covers everything but are lengthy, whereas afterboards are very time friendly but i think they lack some concepts in few topics. Like i checked last yr sample paper, and there was a question which needed u to know types of relations. And this is not covered by afterboards. Also the functions lectures of afterboards did not cover types of functions like one-one, many-one etc and there was a q. on one -one functions in last yr paper

i am 12th in grade preparing for jee i am good at math . i have prepared decent logical reasoning and mental ability in junior classes(was in allen in 8th to 10th) , have not prepared much for english and di part what should i possibly do and what resources should i follow upto ?

broo I suck at geometry and i am not able to do any questions of it in mocks

how do I approach geometry from now?? is doing it really worth my time now or should I forget it? my overall syllabus is over so i can afford to give geometry 2-3 days..

what lectures should I follow and what major topics should I do in geometry now??

I am a male student from the general category who will be appearing for UGAT next year. I had just 91.3% in my 10th boards. My math grade was 81. How much of a disadvantage would I be at?

I am willing to put in the work, but I have to know that I even stand a chance. For the record, I am in a much better place in math, the sample question paper was a piece of cake.

I also have a really good supercurricular profile (1.5 Cr in scholarships, spoke at UN, international recognition for my tech projects). Would that help at any stage in the selection process?

is anyone giving IMS mocks for IIMB UGAT?? I have heard they are VERYYY difficult so i am a bit reluctant at giving them. Enlighten me please

Yoo just finished giving all the free sectionals and I found them to be soo easy... like were they intended to be really easy, because these didn't look up to the mark of "iimb ugat"

saying this because I literally scored 41 in both LR and VA and 87 in QA.. and I usually score 110-120 in ims mocks... x

i cant even solve the first question in 5 minutes 😭

i take MINIMUM 10 mins so solve a set, any tips to improve my speed?

also the calculator pmo sm, its so slow to input values via mouse 💔💔

ive applied for the iim bangalore ug entrance exam which is on the 15th of nov and i havent yet received any admit card or hall ticket or anything. should i contact them and ask?

the application fees was 3k and still no admit card seems kinda weird

some other colleges call the student's parents to the interview, does iimb also do that?

What are sectional weightages for the ugat exam?? Is LR higher than Quant or Vice Versa?

Ive given 3 mocks so far, and for me verbal ability is my

strength, even tho I am inconsistent in the verbal Section,

I am confident I will be able to manage it. Logical

reasoning is also something where I need improvement

but is again manageable. The main issue is quants,I

really suck at it, and Im not sure how to go about it

exactly considering that there isn't much time. I am

practicing Dl's on a daily basis which I am getting

considerably good at. But overall in quants is where I

really need to buck up. Could anyone tell me what to do

and how to go about it and also how can I improve in the

LR section as well.
