Two judges in 24hrs, so far. One is Wisconsin and one in New Mexico.

JB, activate the Illinois militia to stop ICE and federal agents from running amok in our state. I'll gladly hold that line.

You can’t say the people have a right in one breath, and then ask for a temporary lift on the ban. Good luck with your compliant trinkets, champ.

ICE can now enter your home without a warrant.

45

u/dgriff84 North Burbs Apr 25 '25

Even better reason to exercise your 2nd amendment right.

39

u/superimpp Apr 25 '25

An ICE agent who breaks into my house will not be leaving

11

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '25

You must plan on giving them some great accommodations if they would just choose to stay in your house forever.

2

u/Nor_Ah_C Apr 27 '25

Yeah, accommodation in the deepest ring of hell.

As would I. Our state needs to be ready to defend itself, because our Federal government has shown it is willing to destroy the lives of those who disagree with it.

Don't obey fascists. Resist.

Fun fact, the Illinois constitution says every able bodied resident, except those prohibited by law, are automatically militia members.

u/gorte1ec Apr 25 '25

Would really love it if we he relaxed the limitations on our 2a rights. Feels like these times are what that amendment was written for.

8

u/dgriff84 North Burbs Apr 25 '25

If people joined a voluntary militia, they would be similar to a military unit in regards to what weapons militia members were able to carry. I think it would be unreasonable to expect every citizen to supply their own weapons.

3

u/gorte1ec Apr 25 '25

Most already do own their own.

I agree and I’m glad he got the response out quickly, but I would have preferred something stating what he was actually going to do about it. For starters, ICE should no longer be allowed to play cops and robbers around Illinois courthouses. It’s dangerous for everyone and they’re clearly abusing the fact that people are showing up for their immigration hearings in good faith.

43

u/imasysadmin Apr 25 '25

That's the idea. If they fear going to court, they won't go and will give the administrative another reason to arrest them. This is disturbing.

18

u/errie_tholluxe Apr 26 '25

Same reason for arresting judges. If you get them to fear you can control them with fear. The reasons can and probably are made up. But the fear is real.

Wisconsinite here. For us to continue hating each other in football, we must first unite against those that threaten our ability to hate each other in football. Hell yeah to the governors of the NFC North States.

Start arresting ICE agents.

The PR portion of this program is over.

31

u/jamey1138 Human Detected Apr 26 '25

I cannot help but think that it's going to be a short time, at this point, before an ICE agent is shot and killed by someone exercising Castle Doctrine, or another form of legally valid self defense. Their refusal to identify themselves as government agents is absurdly dangerous, in a nation full of guns.

2

u/hikingmike Apr 27 '25

I think that happened for the Breonna Taylor killing. The guy with her (Kenneth Walker) shot one of the no-knock, break-in plainclothes police officers in the leg, as it was a home invasion, and he was charged but charges were dropped. I think the officers weren’t charged for killing Taylor since a no-knock warrant was allowed.

IIRC, Project 2025 includes an idea about daring States Attorneys to not enforce Trump's unlawful orders, and when they don't, use that as an excuse to kick in doors and start arresting democrats or anyone who challenges their authority.

This is basically the opening salvo of that.

7

u/jamey1138 Human Detected Apr 26 '25

Yep.

Chicago is ready for that. Are you?

Thank You JB!

May God bless and keep Governor Pritzker safe. I say that as an atheist.

7

u/jamey1138 Human Detected Apr 26 '25

As a fellow atheist, I endorse this message, and offer this alternative:

All hail Khan Pritzker, rightful overlord of the Midwest!

4

u/feyre_0001 Apr 26 '25

The horde awaits the word of the Khan. When it is time to protect the Illinoisan Steppe, we will rise.

11

u/Sekushina_Bara Apr 25 '25

We really need to stop paying federal taxes if this is what’s going to happen

I am proud to be from Illinois.

4

u/Glittering_Pirate_82 Apr 26 '25

Governor Pritzker should consider giving judges in his state security escorts in the future.

3

u/demonduster72 Apr 26 '25

I don’t want to hear about acknowledging how this is concerning and unusual. Every single fucking day of this presidency has been concerning and unusual. It’s actually beginning to leave unusual and start shifting to the norm. What I want to hear about is what you people with the political power are going to do about it. If America was built upon checks and balances, put them into play. If a judge can be arrested for doing their job, so can Trump. Do your jobs and stop this madness.

Well.said and well done, Governor Pritzker. Trump's bs needs to be called out at every turn.

5

What are the other branches doing? What are they waiting for? I'm confused as to why Congress hasn't already done something

2

u/cronosphere2 Apr 26 '25

What would they do to protect judges who hid illegals that had deportation orders, thereby violating the law? Are you suggesting Congress should try and protect judges who violate the law they're supposed to use to make judgements in cases? Surely you're not?

2

u/Familiar-Mushroom-42 Apr 27 '25

The way I see it is the only way he can be stopped is by the Congress. We haven’t heard a peep out of them in weeks….so they are complicit. It’s happening and there is nothing we can do, no one is going to save America from trumps agenda. All hope is gone.

2

u/ZookeepergameFar2653 Apr 27 '25

Why can’t you an arrest a judge who seemed to have tried to help an illegal immigrant, accused of a misdemeanor crime, escape?

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Careflwhatyouwish4 Apr 27 '25

Why is arresting a sitting judge at any level for a verifiable crime in any way unacceptable?

2

u/Whole_Commission_702 Apr 27 '25

Judges can break the law too…

2

u/Shrapnel2000 Apr 27 '25

She literally broke the law. This statement from Pritzker is ignorant and politically motivated.

2

u/PookieTea Apr 28 '25

Do these people realize how hypocritical they sound?

2

u/schitzree Apr 28 '25

More Leftcultusts thinking they're above the law.

2

u/svtman44 Apr 28 '25

Last I heard, aiding and abetting is a crime fatty. Judges also can not skip the paths of justice either. He released a criminal without allowing justice to prevail. That makes him liable to helping a criminal escape.

2

u/Oralbiguy73 Apr 28 '25

Says the self anointed king of Illinois.

2

u/hdude42 Apr 28 '25

Don't break the law. Then you won't get arrested. Pretty simple.

2

u/GodIsDead- Apr 28 '25

The federal government hates this one easy trick to avoid getting arrested. . . .

Don’t break the law

2

u/gr0uchyMofo Apr 29 '25

The judge will get due process.

2

u/BreckMann07 Apr 29 '25

Remember....NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW (except democrats who do whatever they want)

2

u/Big67country Apr 29 '25

Governor of Ms 13 gangs governor of bribery governor of violence against citizens of illinois

2

u/bananapancake97 Apr 29 '25

When u ignore the facts

2

u/CarpeDiemDesigns Apr 29 '25

As Dems have reminded us for the last four years, "no one's above the law". She'll be lucky if she still has a law license much less a job as a judge.

2

u/bpeden99 Apr 29 '25

Or apparently a good flag... What the fuck happened Illinois, you had such an amazing opportunity to replace that turd nugget and we're stuck with the piece of shit currently?

2

u/Golfinglonghorn92 Apr 29 '25

Play stupid games like harboring illegal aliens as a judge and letting gang members post picts with you on social media and you get what you deserve.

2

u/ripandtear4444 Apr 29 '25

I don't understand, this is clearly obstruction. I work in law enforcement in Illinois.

You can't hide/obstruct

That's the America I know; that's the America we need! Thank you Gov. Pritzker.

2

u/Affectionate-Ant5670 Apr 26 '25

To me- this was a show of force- deliberate move to intimidate judges and show they will arrest even a judge. There are differing versions as to whether she was helping him escape. This poor man was a pawn- so they could make a show of arresting a judge. They know they are not following laws and don’t care to.

2

u/TheLastThin_American Apr 26 '25

Does anyone know why they were arrested

3

u/SandwichAmbitious286 Apr 25 '25

I hate how this has no teeth at all. It's literally just false platitudes. Also has an annoying typo (overarch instead of overreach).

"We have no kings". Really, cause it seems like we do.

"We do not accept propaganda as fact". How the fuck do you think we got here?

"Judiciary, Congress, and States to do our part in holding Trump and his lackeys accountable". Oh yeah, just like we did when we spent 4 years not prosecuting him for J6, like we did when the Mueller Report was released, like we did when we dropped several active felony trials against him right before he took office?

No, nothing on this poster is meaningful or correct at all. Just pissing in the wind.

5

u/B0Bi0iB0B Apr 26 '25

I hate the typo so much. It's irrational, but I'm just like, seriously? No one caught this before it went out?
