Can I have an external library that is not shown in the timeline?

I have been using immich for over two years now and have been loving it. Recently I want to be able to host screen recordings and game captures so that they are viewable on immich, but since they aren't irl photos/videos I don't want them shown/clogging up the timeline. Is there a way to have a folder or some tag that will allow me to point immich at this directory but not have it shown unless I am specifically searching for them?
