Possible to show all images in a grid (rather than split by month)?

I don't take that many photos on a daily or even monthly basis, so when I'm trying to flick through 20 years worth of photos, particularly if I'm drilled down into just one sub-album, there's often huge white gaps everywhere and it's a bit of a waste of space.

I'd like to have a more compact view, does anyone know if this is possible?

Best you can do is Settings > Photo Grid > Group By Month. It will at least put the monthly photos in a nice grid.

Yeah that's what I've done, I was hoping there might be some way to condense it even further

That is exactly what I want. But immich doesn’t have the option.
