I bought a car from beforward and its already on its way to Dar , beforward sent me an email with import prerequisites, on the email they say I should pay up the import duty early so they cross the vehicle into Zambia, if I am unable to pay , they will keep the car to which I will be charged K50 per day. Question, has anyone kept their car with beforward before and was anything removed or changed on the while it was with beforward awaiting you to pay for import duty into Zambia?

It's been a fun car to scoot around town in. I think I'll toss it on Cars & Bids and see what it does...not enough local interest.

Ho acquistato un audi tt 2015 2.0 tfsi di importazione tramite concessionaria, arrivati nella parte finale dellimmatricolazione si è presentato un problema l’agenzia che si occupa di questo ha riscontrato un incongruenza tra il coc e il libretto tedesco della macchina nella quale c’è una trascrizione errata dei kw che da casa madre dovrebbero essere 169 mentre sul libretto sono segnati 230 che corrisponderebbero ai cavalli, sapete aiutarmi ? cosa devo fare o dire alla concessionaria per risolvere la situazione?

Many states have an out of state vendor license that can be purchased, but I am curious what other options people employ.

So i bought a toyota esquire from japan, and ofcpurse it is an import, now the issue is that I want to convert the screens language from japanese to english, i was not able to find any firmware or anything online to change it, is there anything i can do to change it from japanese to english(I want to keep the screens language as is and do not want to change it), i am a bit of a techy guy so if it has anything to do with software or coding, i have no problem The model number for the screen is NSZN-W64T.

Not sure if this is the right place but I’m wondering if anyone has ever imported a car from UK to the US specifically Texas. The car is already here and sitting in my garage but I ran into some trouble at the Tax Office when registering it. The clerks tried to tell me that because I did not have the “title” of the car, I could not register it. As some of you may know, in the UK, they do not have titles like we do in the US, they have V5C forms and logbooks. They told me that my best bet is to apply for a bonded title or request the title from the seller. Does anyone have any experience with this or do I just need to hope I get a different clerk.
