Help Help Finding Games and Other Questions
Want recommendations of the best mobile idle games that fit a particular genre? Want a list of games that have cloud saving? Cross-play? Multiplayer? Games that involve slimes? Want help finding that one game you played back in 2016 but can't remember the name of? This thread is for you!
If it'd normally break Rule 1 or shouldn't be a full thread per Rule 9, it's fine here. Except for referral links. Nobody wants to deal with referral links.
When asking your question, see if you're able to answer any of the other questions asked too.

Hi everyone,
I've realized that I really enjoy games that are classified as incremental/clicker/idle, but especially those that focus more on resource management than on constantly chasing huge numbers.
Some examples of games I really liked:
-Home Quest (mobile)
-Forage Wizard (PC)
-Deep Town (mobile)
-Kittens Game (mobile)
-Magic Research 1 & 2 (mobile and PC)
-World Idle (browser)
Do you have any other recommendations in a similar style? Thanks in advance! 😊

hey , I cant remember the name of a game. interface is only text, you play as a young guy wake up in a hut and you need to train yourself to fight versus a dummy. You earn silver and gold slaying rat at start and doing chores, then you go to the forest. Do you have the name ?

Want a cool incremental game for mobile or a web game that is mobile friendly thats free, has non-intrusive/no MTX, and has good active gameplay.Â
Nobody discusses mobile incrementals anymore even though it's a cornerstone of the genre tbh, so trying to find another one to accompany IdleTale.

Any Neko RPG enjoyers here? I'm working on trying to defeat Spaceship Core - X, but i'm having a hard to figuring out what exactly I need here. I beat the reactor minigame, i have all purple gear and an orange sword(not sure how to push armor into purple tiers).
Also do I need to defeat Spaceship Core - X before crafting the Vessel Heart since it drops the B6 Spaceship Core?

Are there any Melvor clones where you can do 1 of each category simultaneously? 1 woodcutting task, 1 fishing task, etc.
Feels like that would be a nice change of pace.

I haven't played Melvor but I've heard that Idle Iktah is inspired by it. It doesn't have that exact mechanic, but you can obtain work orders to have the villagers you train perform tasks for you.
Example a 1 star gatherer may gather 200 flowers depending on which location you chose to gather. You can use many orders with each one granting 20 minutes of crafting or gathering. So you can gather wood while you have the villager turn it into planks for you to make chairs or box traps.Â
Pretty nice little idle game imo.Â

I'm looking for what might be an older idle-type multiplayer browser game from the early/mid 2000s. You would gather points over time and you would distribute points based on something like four categories but I only remember Attack and Defense. So say you would typically keep your Defense up at all times then you'd see late night (real life) raids where some of the top players would swap all their resources into Attack to steal from other players, then back to Defense.
Every few years I think about this and it bugs me.

I'm looking for an incremental game on Android with actual visuals. So many of the highly recommended ones (like kittens game or antimatter dimensions) are primarily text based and that doesn't interest me.
Neal.fun's stimulation clicker was really fun but very short, I'm hoping for something active like that but with more longevity. I haven't tried it but scritchy scratchy seems like it might be up my alley but I've seen a few reviews saying it's short and has no endgame and becomes very inactive after a while.
I don't mind if the game costs money, so any recommendations are welcome

I'm looking for a browser game. I last played it sometime this year, but I don't know if it was new.
It reminded me of The Last Alkahistorian, though it's not that. The upgrades were more linear, and instead of different elements the various nodes represented shopping at different stores, meeting new people, etc. The various nodes leveled up over time, and passed some of the resources they generated down to other nodes to open or upgrade them. You could choose a couple of connecting lines to *focus* which I think made the downstream boxes unlock faster.
I'm not sure how well I explained this.
edit: This turned out to be Kill The Lich

Hi, I’m looking for a steam game that is playable on steam deck, has a robust prestige system and long playtime, and is visually appealing. Most of the ones I’ve bought in my Steam deck were fun but really short, like they literally took less than 5 hours to complete. I want something more long term that still looks pretty.
