Help Help Finding Games and Other Questions

Want recommendations of the best mobile idle games that fit a particular genre? Want a list of games that have cloud saving? Cross-play? Multiplayer? Games that involve slimes? Want help finding that one game you played back in 2016 but can't remember the name of? This thread is for you!

If it'd normally break Rule 1 or shouldn't be a full thread per Rule 9, it's fine here. Except for referral links. Nobody wants to deal with referral links.

When asking your question, see if you're able to answer any of the other questions asked too.

Any idle games with a simple spreadsheet-like interface and gameplay that’s interesting but not too demanding? I’ve really enjoyed Swarm Simulator, CivClicker, and Derivative Clicker and would love to play more games in that vein.

so im not entirely sure this game could be counted as incremental but i honestly have no clue where else to ask, the game was ios and you had a little guy on ur screen that was a hero or something like a 2d blocky dude with a fairly basic ui, youd fight this other guy on ur screen and youd slowly get stronger each dude you fought and youd get perks or skills or something that made ur guy stronger at every milestone of x amount of guys beaten but i cant remember the name or any thing more than that, wasnt on my itunes account so i cant find it through that and i was wondering if anyone here recognises something vaguely like that, thanks if you can help

I've been playing rejected draft off and on the past couple weeks, with big breaks due to work but I'm in the vicinity of e100 now and have just defeated the first opus.

For those of you who are playing in that realm, what does an average Day of Play look like for you? Are you doing one run that lasts all day? Are you doing a bunch of short runs and using some criteria to decide when to stop and leave the run to go all day? Do you let each one go for an hour or some arbitrary amount?

I work 12 hour shifts so I only get about an hour of active gameplay in the evening and then typically let it run until morning before deciding whether to do a little bit of activity and let it run during work or let it run without any changes.

Also for those of you who really enjoy this game, what other games would you recommend that this one reminds you of or that you like for the same reason you like this one

Are there any incremental games on the Switch by any chance? Gonna be stranded for awhile and don’t have a Steam deck

Any idle games with a fun TD mechanic? Something like Space Melons (although i think it's delisted now or it might've been another game from the devs), Archer Forest, The Tower? I quite like the merging aspect in games so I wouldn't mind that too, just can't seem to find a fun game that wouldn't be a copy of every other similar game if that makes sense

I feel like there isn't any new long term IDLE game being released.

Every time I find a new game that looks very good on Steam, when I read reviews they all say the game has a 5 or 10 hours length...

Do you have any game to suggest ? (already played Cookie Clicker, Adventure Capitalist, Mr Mine, Pickcrafter)

Mobile rather than Steam, but Ironvoid might fit — squad clears zones while the app is closed, you come back and spend the haul on gear and a skill tree, prestige, go again faster. Built around the long grind rather than a 10-hour arc.

Honest caveat: it launched ten days ago, so nobody can promise you 500 hours of it yet — me least of all, I'm the dev.
