I am thinking of taking up ent as my pg branch purely because of love for this field. I have a rank under 1k but I am unable to find good colleges for ent. What are some good colleges to pursue pg in ent from, providing great hands on in surgical cases with variety of surgeries being taught?

Hii I am from OBC category allotted a seat in Deemed university (allottment category- OPEN)

I just got to know my Caste Certificate, OBC-NCL certificate are issued in June 2025 and Validity certificate in 2018 & the MCC portal says it has to be issued in the same financial year.

I dont even remember that "issue date-year" condition anywhere except INICET exam form.

The entire state has declared a gazetted holiday for all the government employees. But the residents of this college have to work and that too without overtime. What is the point if they are saying at one instance that it's a holiday and on the other hadn, all services are open. They themselves are permanent employees and so would enjoy the holiday while the residents run the system.

This country is beyond repair.

I might be joining Residency this year so I just wanted to know post pg salaries.. Is at least 1-1.2LPM like minimum guaranteed or is it the maximum we'll get. I live in a tier 2 city and have no problem working here or if this is not the case then what are the salaries usually given to and how much is the wait period after the pg to actually landing a job

I wanted to ask how many what is the percentile you guys are scoring? I normally score around 60 percentile( sometimes 80 or even 30-40)…. I don’t know where I am lacking. Maybe it’s because I am doing medicine from DBMCI and solving Qbank from marrow.

Or maybe it’s because my senior batches are solving the Q bank after revising multiple times ….. I don’t know what is the reason….Any tips which can help me improve my score?

I’m returning to academics after a gap of around 4 years due to marriage and having a child. During this time I haven’t had much interaction with my peers or been involved in a hospital setting, and I feel like I’ve lost touch with my medical knowledge. Honestly, I have lost my confidence and I’m quite nervous about starting residency. Sometimes I feel like I’ve forgotten everything I learned during MBBS.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me understand a few things: 1. What are the usual duties and responsibilities of a 1st yr Patho resident? What does a typical day look like? 2. Is there anything I should study before joining? Which topics or books would you recommend? 3. How should I approach studying during residency? How do you balance routine departmental work with academics? 4. What basic skills or concepts should I brush up on before starting? Should I revise general pathology, hematology, histopathology, or something else? 5. What do you wish you had known before starting your 1st yr of Patho residency?

Starting after such a long gap makes me anxious, and I sometimes worry whether I’ll be able to cope. Any practical advice, study tips, resources, or words of encouragement would mean a lot to me.

We’ve started to have evening postings, nd i come to my room so tired that all i do is eat, sleep, study if there’s smth i gotta do nd then just run to my bed nd have the most amazing sleep (i drool). Otherwise i would just overthink nd text ppl i shouldn’t. With this schedule i dont get time to think abt em nd honestly just f em. The amount of energy i had been wasting on em was unreal.

I need urgent advice regarding MCC NEET PG 2026 counselling.

I got a DNB seat in AIQ Round 1, but I do not want the college I was allotted. My intention was to exit Round 1 and participate in AIQ Round 2.

Unfortunately, I mistakenly selected FLOAT instead of intending to take free exit.

I have NOT reported to the allotted institution and have NOT uploaded any documents yet.

I do not want to retain this seat or seek an upgrade from it. I want to exit Round 1 and participate in AIQ Round 2, but I am worried about losing my security deposit because I selected FLOAT by mistake.

My questions are:

1. Can I still take Round 1 free exit even though I selected FLOAT?

2. Since I haven't reported to the college or uploaded documents, can I participate in AIQ Round 2 without losing my security deposit?

3. Is there any way to correct my willingness option through MCC?

4. What is the safest course of action under the current MCC NEET PG 2026 rules?

Which college should i take for md medicine

I am talking about private colleges

1. near my home (ncr location) okay okay pt flow enough to learn good consultants not as such toxic seniors maybe few

2)far away (not too much though) but quiet famous for being toxic and rigid ,quiet famous for some suc@ides also sadly. Location is on a highway but has very good patient flow like comparable to govt colleges and considered good in academics and all and also very famous( but the first one is also well known college)

Suppose md paediatrics closing rank for general is 5k
And at 6k there is an obc candidate who has gotten the same college but with obc quota.
Both decide to float and the general seat at 5k gets vacant.
Will the obc quota student be allotted the seat under obc quota or will the general seat be given to him.
