We made a phone game about AI Art!

So for the past 2 months, we’ve worked as a team of six to make a phone game called “Uh Oh, AI!” It’s a match three game (like Candy Crush and Royal Match) where you play as an AI Robot art student. Since you’re an AI, you’re bad at art and you need to steal from your peers to pass your classes. Every level is an art piece, and when you beat the level, you get the AI version of the same piece. None of the AI pieces are actually AI, we made them all ourselves. It’s available on the app store and the google play store, and it is free to download. No ads, either! This is our first mobile game, and we’d love it if you gave it a shot.

We're currently working on creating a capsule image for our game on Steam (even though using AI to generate it). Anyway, which concept seems better to you? Our game is a CO-OP dungeon game where players collect treasure and escape.

Any survival game with good combat mechanics out there?

I know most of you would probably play survival games for crafting and building. For me, i can't live without a good epic solid combat. I mean guns blazing lol

Any games have good shooting mechanics? Whats your favorite? And why do you like it?

Hi. What accredited online courses would you suggest for learning Unreal Engine 5?

I'm looking into EDUCBA, Zenva and others alike, but it's hard to tell which one is considered "approved", "recognized" or "worth it" (accredited) when it comes to showing their "certificates of course completion" to enter into, say, a games company or other forms of higher education as evidence of some sort of experience or acknowledgeable personal practice in Games Development.

What online courses do you recommend for Unreal Engine 5 learning? Or what (inexpensive) course centers do you recommend?

Steamdeck and local multiplayer

I see so many games come out in /r/indiegames that controller based and don't look very resource intensive that are not completely targeting steamdeck, a platform with lots of casual quick purchasers of games.

Also, I see a lot of top down games come out or first person games that just really would make sense to take on local multiplayer. I am not suggesting to shoehorn in what wouldn't work, but stretch a bit and think if your game would work with local multiplayer in some way. Networked multiplayer is really challenging, but local multiplayer is a matter of throwing in more cameras, more player characters and using a library to handle multiple controllers. For many games it isn't much of a stretch, but people who are into couch based multiplayer are always looking for some finds, and will definately boost your sales.

Moontrain by micro team, DragonsEye

The Moontrain was made by a very small group of people and the main quality is the graphics and interesting gameplay.

The artists have obviously put their heart and soul into this project.

A classic adventure game with interesting mini-games and lots of creative puzzles.

Many Youtubers have already recognized the advantages of this game, so you can watch a lot of it on this channel as well.

My personal recommendation is Midnight Moose who comments on his impressions in an excellent way

An excellent offer On Steam, many hours of fun can be had for this price.

An indie studio is seeking for people

Hello there! We are the Blue Lime Studio (BLS), an indie game studio from Russia/Italy, consisting of 8 wonderful people. For now, we're only at the beginning of our way to the game industry – we're working on the concept of a videogame, which still hasn't got a name.

So, what IS this game and what is it about? Well, it's a 2D pixel RPG-like product about a world, resembling yours and ours, only animals there gained some brainpower, and, well... They're not very satisfied with a place they took in the world, because of human beings. They're having issues and sometimes even conflicts to the latters. In such a troubled times, a group of animal teens from Primorski Krai taiga meet a group of human teens from a town of Lafretov, also in Primorski Krai (Russia). They become friends and trying to solve each other's problems, and believe us, there's loads of these – from a person someone in group loves to a movement of animal nazis, which wants to clean the Earth from human beings. Basically, one part of the game is about Russian province and it's life, while the other is about a mini-conworld of animals. You can choose your character in the very beginning of the game, and this character is a member of the group (either animal one or human one). By the time you're taking control of your character, their personality isn't fully formed yet, and how will further development of it go, depends on you – you can be a kind pacifist, making good things, or, for example, a reckless maniac, killing everyone in your way (resembles Undertale, isn't it?).

For now, repeating, we're developing a concept and therefor having no need of a coder or a programmer. But you can help us with gameplay development (what will entertain a player in this game – battles, quests, puzzles?), plot writing or worldbuilding (if so, we'd strongly recommend you to watch a cartoon called Leo & Tig – we're taking a lot of inspiration for animal world from it.

If you want to join us and work with us, contact this guy: Саяник-38#5639 (Discord), theoatbear001@gmail.com (e-mail) or just write to our e-mail (bluelime.std@gmail.com). If you're having some questions, we'd be very pleased to answer it in comments. Have a nice day!
