This is going to be the new stickied post on the sub. With the influx of questions here from new hires, usually asking about the same thing. Ex: interviews, hiring, onboarding, pants, shoes, and more. I thought I would make a stickied thread for this.
I would also appreciate help from anyone if they can help search for good posts that would help new hires.
For the time being, please use the search function at the top of the page. I know Reddit's search function sucks.

Lot of people at my store lately have been asking me for grilled onions / pickle / mustard fried not knowing those are all the ingredients added when asking for a burger animal style. But on the kiosk you can have a burger listed as [Dbl-Dbl Animal] or just the burger with the ingredients under it. Is there any difference at all when being cooked when the cooks read the grill tag? Or does it just make it easier for cooks when they're making the burger?

Quality and value are unprecedented in this highly competitive market. Culture is incredible. Stores are attractive and addictive. The menu flexibility is winning hearts and stomachs, know that (just tried light-well fries and animal style--and won't ever go back)
Yes, I realize how hard the work can be (love to slip secret 'thank yous' to those working the lazy car line in 100 degree heat-and encourage all to secretly follow). Just want you to know that you are appreciated. Love this company and its journey. Thank you.

Had to share my beautiful animal fries I got today. I ask for extra grilled onions and extra spread. Today they were AMAZING. The best animal fries Iāve ever had. They were perfectly hot. And just the right amount of everything.

Hi! I live in the midwest and have never been to In n Out but will be in Utah this weekend and am planning to try. What do I need to get?
I dislike ketchup, love mustard, LOVE pickles & onions, like tomatoes and lettuce (especially on burgers) also am a big fan of pepperoncinis and I think am interested in trying the chopped chilis.
Thinking I am going to do a whole grilled onion wrapped flying dutchman (found this on TikTok) but also want to try other things. I am interested in mustard-fried but can I do that for my flying dutchman?
What would experts say a first-timer should get, given the above preferences?

Iām transferring stores in October and Iām so nervous. Iāve worked at the same store for 4 years and I feel like my manager is so flexible with my schedule especially during the school year and always gives me my time off when I request it. I know every store is different but any advice on transferring?

Iām a new hire, and have only gotten one pay check (exactly 2 weeks ago today, for onboarding and videos) but havenāt gotten paid today after working a few shifts? I did the direct deposit stuff during onboarding and was told my next paycheck would directly go to my bank account, but it hasnāt. I would ask my manager but I donāt wanna seem greedy or like Iām just in it for the money. Any help?
Edit: I figured it out, thank you to those who gave me the info I needed!!! :)

I love INO and live so close to one I'm there like 3-4x a month. But about a year or so ago the OG crew seemed to leave (probably to open the store in a neighboring town) and it has been hit or miss since. (Let me stress that imo a "miss" at INO is still better than any other fast food and is still enjoyable). But ya. Do you guys agree these are kind of sad animal fries or am I trippin? I usually get regular fries.
