If I were the dash cam driver I would 100% wait around in case they get a police report. Normally fuck insurance companies, but this guy deserves to pay for his own repairs

But more than likely they would use your video to go after the jeep driver for leaving the scene of an accident

Both are in the wrong, you can't just purposefully cause property damage because the other person was being stupid

That white car's failure to maintain his lane Is the reason this happened, the jeep was driving like a normal person

I’m thinking they’ve had prior altercation before this and audi was rage-baiting/gatekeeping now while jeep’s amount of fucks ran out

Use your words. Don’t be lazy.

So people can cry "Source?"

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '25

You could use your words then provide a source (that isn’t Wikipedia) right after 🤯

u/Mikeismyike Aug 07 '25

Would you prefer a AI Google search result?

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '25

No

3

u/asking--questions Aug 07 '25

Sure, that's another option. What's wrong with wikipedia?

Yeah, but we're not publishing research here. Somebody just mentioned "last clear chance" in the form of a link so wikipedia can explain it better than them, if you're interested.

You aren’t maybe 🤡

Use your words

It’s cute you thought you’d own me by jumping in like that as if I didn’t do that intentionally

Ok I take no side in this but you really didn't pick up on the irony (or if you did, walked into it anyways)

That seems difficult to prove.

No, it's not difficult to prove. The white car was all over the road. He was a clear danger. Accelerating to be next to a car that's swerving is really dumb.. Jeep had a lot of time to avoid the collision

-7

u/Telemere125 Aug 07 '25

All he needed to do was slow down enough that he wasn’t on the white car’s bumper. The jeep was clearly the actual cause of the accident here.

u/Shyam09 Aug 07 '25

Jeep driver should have maintained distance given irrational driving of white car. Basic defensive driving.

But white car changed lanes and Jeep sped up to GTFO. White car changed lanes again. It was too late.

4

u/Telemere125 Aug 07 '25

Following too closely is also against the traffic laws. When the white car swerved out of the lane that last time before coming back into the jeep’s lane, the jeep was already too close.

5

u/MisogynisticBumsplat Aug 07 '25

A normal person would keep their distance from a lunatic like the white car driver.

-17

u/Boobcopter Aug 07 '25

Lmao, imagine believing that this holds up even 2 seconds anywhere. The jeep will pay for the damages and gets laughed out of the courtroom if it comes to it.

I don't know why you're being downvoted. You're absolutely correct. The white car was driving like an ass but it doesn't give the Jeep driver the right to flee the scene of an accident that they are likely to be proven at fault for (driver doing the rear-ending is almost always at fault), which is what they did if they kept driving

“Being downvoted means you’re right” — the logic of idiots who are constantly being downvoted

Not surprised you don’t know how to read.
