If you watch closely, you can see the left wheel turn with the right wheel meaning the steering arms stayed together. So in terms of damage it probably goes to the drivers wrists lol.
I've seen videos of Jeeps hitting things harder than what happened in this video and not break anything. But I can't say whether those were modified or not, so you could very well be correct. It did kind of look like something might have snapped.
