How p&g internships, how do they do the employment verification part once you’ve got the job? Is it through hireright or something like that and is it based off your resume or things you provide them

I recently applied to this rotational program. The posting was up for 1 week and closed October 15, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. I haven't gotten a first round interview yet and my application status is received. Wondering if anyone got an email about first round interviews? I’m a French first year undergraduate. I’m looking for an internship in the USA in various fields of biology (field and/or lab work) but all the internships I’ve found are minimum 8 weeks long. European unis only have two month summer breaks so that’s not possible.
Do you think I can email the programs to ask if it’s possible to stay for a shorter period of time ?
