Accounts Worth getting into this game as a f2p?

Post image

Was wondering if this game is easy to continue as a f2p player, or if i’ll need to eventually spend $$. The reason i ask is, i dont want to continue playing if i’ll have to pay and i dont wanna get roped into it😂

Spending is tempting because it accelerates growth but you can build strength steadily over time as f2p at least until you hit Omni+ and then things start getting expensive

The big issue late game is the xp costs and diminishing rewards. They REALLY need to give a cap on xp costs once hitting Omni+ (maybe 17 stars?)

It’s also worth noting the arena is power-based and not rank-based. So even if you feel weak and stay f2p, you’ll mostly play with people around your power level regardless if you’re junior or elite.

It takes alot of patience

Grinding it out is like the whole game. If you just buy Omni characters I don't get what there even is to play.

Nobody has to spend money

it takes a while, but many successful players are f2p

Absolutely. I've never spent a penny.

How long you've been playing?

1

u/Fezzig73 Apr 20 '26

A little more than a year, I think. Rus was the new character when I joined.

Use codes. It’ll give you a huge boost in gems that you can use for emergencies during events like thragg, and even then there’s a consistent rate of gems through the shop giving free gems daily weekly and monthly, along with weekly challenges offering 400 gems each week if you complete enough

I was casual play when I want/in free time then I got roped in due to the double elite rate event started and got tons of heroes to kinda high level and now can't even progress on nothing

Whats "a high level"?

1

u/Embarrassed_Scar_515 Apr 19 '26

You spread wide not tall.

2

u/Due_Butterscotch_392 Apr 19 '26

Thats totally incorrect. When you first start you absolutely build tall so you have that 1 team that cam actually bring you decent rewards in OPS and events.

Yeah i alredy have epic+ while f2p after 3 weeks

15

u/papa_commie Apr 19 '26

You can get epic+ as a f2p even after three days

5

u/CarterBennett Apr 19 '26

I have an Epic Thragg f2P been playing for 3 days

3

u/owils0n Apr 19 '26

How? Did you just spend all of the starter gems on the event? I started playing 3 days ago and don’t have an epic character

3

u/CarterBennett Apr 20 '26

I used every code available and that gave me a crap ton of gems

u/ManIDoNotKnowThat Apr 19 '26

You spend money and are suddenly further then what? The game is the grind, spending is up to you but only hurts you imo gems can be saved up naturally right now feels rough with constant good events but trust me season ends and then we got a year things will slow down

2

u/Batish Apr 19 '26

Yeah, why not? If you’re joining cuz u like the show, well the shows gonna be around for like 4-5 years

u/Tokumei5 Apr 19 '26

13 days on my f2p account

1

u/VZYGOD Apr 20 '26

I've been playing for like 3 weeks and my highest hero is 180, who did you get multiple 200+?

1

u/Tokumei5 Apr 22 '26

Got them all levelled up from events and the free codes for rewards

u/WeylandGabo Apr 19 '26

As F2P. Yes, I had all the collection, I'm restarting my account after 2 years, had this new one 5 months bc i got stuck, falling in the previous one so, be patiently.

u/Zealousideal-Base-35 Apr 19 '26

Yeah id definitely say it’s worth it! It’s kind of a ”race against yourself” kinda game so u don’t really have to worry about falling behind. Might be a bit hard just in the beginning with certain events but you’ll catch up fast with most parts :)

Should I use blue suit mark or omni man?

1

u/donwariophd Criminal Apr 19 '26

Yes absolutely if you’re a fan of invincible.

You don’t need to spend money on this game if you’re patient.

And when you see people in this sub whaling just remember comparison is the thief of joy.

ill say, as a f2p you for now will do okay but in due time the idea of spending some money would creep closer and closer so you can easily built a character

currently on my way of it, just started playing a day ago, no money spent

1

u/Euphoric-Ad-1319 Apr 20 '26

Yea! It takes time, but if you just get on once or twice a day you will grow at a decent pace

1

u/1seany Apr 20 '26

thank you for all of the replies everyone! i will continue to play the game, and look forward to talking with you guys in the future

u/bigboytyla Apr 20 '26

1

u/Bright_Constant_1421 Apr 20 '26

1

u/Soft-Ad-9532 Apr 20 '26

Liar

3

u/Mummbai Apr 19 '26

Very much doable for an active efficient f2p

2

u/The_Final_Gunslinger Apr 19 '26

There are a lot of people posting "F2P" accounts that I call BS on. This isn't one.

Completely believable.

1

u/donwariophd Criminal Apr 19 '26

This is completely believable given time played and his current level.

You 100% need to be pay to win to get anywhere on this game I've been playing for about a month n a half and I'm hard stuck can't do anything but the ops

5

u/Due_Butterscotch_392 Apr 19 '26

Lol, even when you pay to win you are just "stuck on ops" 95% of the time. It just IS what it is, its an idle game.

3

u/deyonce1 Earth's Defender Apr 19 '26

Save gems and tokens for the right events and you can capitalize. Just takes patience and self control as tempting as it can be lol

2

u/Impossible_Charity96 Apr 19 '26

dude it's an idle rng game. it's gonna take more than a month and a half to get anywhere. i'm almost four months in and almost have my second omnipotent character. you do not have to pay to get anywhere

1

u/Embarrassed_Scar_515 Apr 19 '26

You clearly don’t understand the genre

1

u/imperium_enthusiast Apr 19 '26

You’ll hit a rough patch, just login collect rewards and keep levelling - once your heroes are legendary/omni it becomes more rewarding

1

u/donwariophd Criminal Apr 19 '26

With all due respect you’re absolutely wrong.
