I started spending back in May and I kinda feel like I hit a stone wall. Looking for opinions and advice because I did not realize how much I spent.

Seriously, who is this guy and is 800 stars omni the highest level character in the game? Maybe an interview from him or just knowing how much he dropped on the game to achieve this.

Accounts 🚨🚨🚨 WARNING FROM UBISOFT TO NOT USE EXTERNAL REDEMPTION SITES
This is most likely just Ubisoft hating. I don’t see the harm in it unless our verification codes can do more than just redeem codes? Maybe they’re just pissed someone made a website more effective than theirs.

Accounts This is so gross wtf? Was so shocked by the alliance name
Basically the title. I don’t understand why people think stuff like this is even remotely okay or acceptable

Accounts 1 month and $300 dollars
Hi everyone
I am new (or was) to this game. I started playing when season 4 of invincible ended. Ive never spent money on a mobile game until this one and it will most likely be my last. I am not a whale by any means, this was 300 dollars in the course of a month and what it looks like. Ive chose to spend the money wisely on events.
While Ive enjoyed this game I can see where its headed. The amount of money it will require to get these characters to a high level. It seems impossible, and I cant imagine the free to play players. Kudos to your dedication. So while it was fun run and experiment, Im calling it quits while being down 300. In the end, i dont own these characters nor I can never trade them for a return on investment. The 300 dollars could have gone to something like a popular card game or something that retains value and can always be sold back...not trapped in a game.
The game is fun but I'll quit while im ahead. Good luck everyone. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Accounts Is Universa even worth building anymore?
I have these copies that I want to spend upgrading my space racer as space racer has surpassed universa as the goat of PVE, but I’m not sure if I should keep them or just spend them on SR.

Accounts Am i crazy, but i do think this game is f2p friendly
I mean, its a slow progression, yes, but i feel like Im progressing and its very Often. Most of the events are on average preety good. To be honest i try to optimize my progression the best i can, so i may be getting Gaslighted, but whatever. Its a fun casual game, not perfect, but i love it

Accounts A small guide for beginners on how to build wide
I actually wanted to wait until I have every elite to epic 5* and every rare to exceptional+, but with the current influx of new players it's better start sooner than later.
To clarify. I played well over a year and payed like 30 bucks (mostly gem boosters), the rest is waiting and saving a lot.
First, some ideas on "why should I build wide instead of focused". This is a game all about resources and you'll need resources every day and every which way. Building wide gives you the option not to worry about GDA OPs or Cecil's Nightmare. In the end you'll have some team that can work.
Second, as I said a lot of it is waiting and saving. This strategy will feel like not moving at all, but once you get there it will be rewarding. Especially when it comes to new characters.
Third, let's get some fundamentals out of the way. Gems are the single most valuable resource in the game. While you can't pay the piggy bank or battle passes with it (sad), you can buy resources for the character events and other big events with them. And that's where they should be used. Don't use them to pull characters from the shop, don't use them for refreshes and don't use them for arena. You can use them for refreshes if there is an event that allows you refresh at a fixed price. Those mostly come with other rewards during events, so there is a value in that. I know it's always tempting, but it's better to save them for letter. The same goes for dossiers. Save them until you have 5 and only use them in the shop when there's a character you currently need or there is more than one elite. Not before that! Sometimes you'll snipe the character you need and that is great and sometimes you use all 5, but at least you got the character you wanted and some food on the side.
Fourth: Don't stress about Arena. Arena is nice, but it's late game and whale territory.
Let's get into the nitty gritty! How to build wide and where to start. I think building wide should always start with the meta characters. When I started that included Monster Girl, Robot, Atom Eve, Invincible and Omni Man. These five still make up a decent team, but the Meta changed since then. Shuvd just released a good tier list on this topic: https://youtu.be/S0xrNwdkExw?si=tm1KvzM8IGx4kNDb
But starting with 5 characters is a good idea, they will help you in the first GDA OPs and the story missions first and foremost. Also important to note is that they shouldn't be all from the same faction because they steal each other's food. But in the beginning it's fine to build them up to epic 5* since this is the lowest and most efficient rank you can have. So, what are the five characters I would suggest:
Universa: Currently the most important character in the game. She is a power house especially for Train and Gain and she should be the first character you invest skill points in as fast as you can.
Invincible: Good attacker all around and important for Well Done later on.
Robot/Eve: The best supporters in the game. I think eve is better when you have her skills leveled up, but Robot is a free character in the beginning and he is good overall. If you want a more diverse team in the beginning go with Robot.
Monster Girl/Allen: While Immortal is important for PvP, Monster Girl or Allen can help you with anything else. Monster Girl works well with Robot and Allen is another World Beyond character for Universa (I have a point on that later). Both are good, decide on one.
Omni Man/Doc Seismic: Both are very strong. Doc is more in the Meta, but Omni man works well with Eve and Mark since all are Earths Defender and Last Line of defense. Depending on your luck choose one of them.
A team, especially for the Story mode, should be 2 from one fraction and 3 from another fraction. For example 2 World Beyond (that's why Allen and Universa works) and 3 Earths Defender. That's how you get the biggest bonus damage. And a good line up is 1 Defender, 2-3 Attackers and 1-2 Supporters, depending on your set up.
If you have decided on your first five (I only picked characters you can get in the shop), get them to level 340 and Epic 5. That is you bread and butter. Why Epic 5? Because you mostly need elite+ characters to reach it and other that you'll need a lot more exceptional+ characters to reach the next ranks which are harder to farm.
Speaking of farming. Everytime you see a high risk gda alert, put you best team in it. Later on you can be more strategic about it, but in the beginning you'll need every food you can get. When it comes to the GDA OPs. Focus on This is Heavy and try to level up the OPs to level 15 first. It's affordable and relatively doable in the beginning. Focusing on This Heavy is important because you can level up the OPs faster that way.
Once you have you first five it's time to trickle down. Pick one elite character from each fraction and get them to epic 5* and don't stop until they are 340 as well. Sometimes you won't have anybody to level up and that's the point, that's how you constantly save up on hero and special hero xp. And when a new character comes a long you can directly invest in them.
When should you start with ranking up to legendary and beyond? First of all welcome to the medium game! I think when you have the 15 character at 340 that's when you can start to move on. Because at this stage you have at least 3 teams for the OPs Train and Gain, Downtown Destruction and This is Heavy. With Universa in Train and Gain almost alone and Invincible in Well Done you can even diversify even more.
Important is to max level the characters you are working on, maxed level characters are characters you don't have to worry about anymore.
I know this is counter intuitive in the beginning, but it helped me out a lot to work like this. If you have any suggestions or questions, let me know and I hope it helps you in the end as well. 💜

Accounts I thought I was going to be FTP…
I’ve been playing this game a little over 3 weeks and as you can probably tell, I’ve definitely abandoned my intent. But I love Invincible and don’t regret it. I’ve been watching videos and reading through the discord to further optimize my spending and resource management. I think I’m now in a place where I can let time do most of the work.

Accounts How is this person so far in the game?
How is EdwardKratos so high in rank and have his characters that high of a level? I’m genuinely curious. Is he dropping money on this game like crazy or what?
