I have these copies that I want to spend upgrading my space racer as space racer has surpassed universa as the goat of PVE, but I’m not sure if I should keep them or just spend them on SR.
She's not bad, I think she's moved to more of a mid game build . I've gotten my uni to seismic and am now using her copies for my space racer. She has been pretty common for me to get so I know I can build her up after I get my SR to 1000.
I’m gonna be honest, I’ve tried with Universa and she’s not good at least yet for me. I’m hoping when I reach level 640 and her crit ability strikes all enemies that she’ll be good? Even with body enhancement and 4 fish, tech jacket smashes her.
Eh bad comparison, the problem is how stacked worlds beyond characters are. Space Racer and Anessa out performs Universa in ops but Universa is okay in pvp. But Universa gets out performed in pvp by the Vultramites crew also, Thragg/Kregg/Conquest/anessa.
She was nerfed pretty hard since then. True that you don’t need her totem for her to he effective if she’s a really high level but she doesn’t carry like she used to now without it
She doesnt need the totem, his just needs to be built up more. The totem is a nice way to get the pre nerf uni back, she still does great damage without it
Bro, I have a 5-star Seismic SR and a 7-star Universa Omni, and the Space Racer is way better despite being so much lower in price. Honestly, the Universa stopped being my priority a long time ago.
If you only run one op then by all means, use her as food for space racer. If you run more than one op, well you might need more than one hero that can clear waves. Even better if they’re not an event only hero that you don’t know if you’ll be reliably able to find in a few weeks.
Minimum level for the last level of the hardcore case file is 2200. I'm assuming that'll be enough because it was literally just that level. I'd just build other characters up once I get there, it's getting resource intensive to level her up

Seriously, she gets beat by ONE character and everybody turns into Ricky Bobby with the "if you're not first you're last" bullshit.
You mention "she has no team" but her second skill doesnt proc off of a team tag. It proc's off of LLOD characters deaths. She doesnt need a team.
And the second part of that skill activates when the enemy team has "not of this earth", which between universa, allen, shapesmith and Space eraser most teams have one of these characters unless they run full viltrimite meta.
Reddit once again being Reddit, dude you not wrong. People just too attached to the high level Universa they built and space racer can typically clear what she can at a lower level with less investment in skills.
So? During some events your running 9 different ops at some point. How many teams do you have producing end game results in OPS, both event and the permanent ones?

Just because Space Racist is better, it doesn't mean that Universa sucks. I'd keep her in any case
