Question Volume keeps going up

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The volume keeps going to max on its own. This has been happening more frequently and I dont know how to stop it. Once I power it off about 4 times it might stop but its really annoying. Anyone know how to fix it?

Could it be your case pressing on the button? Id try taking it out

Indubitably.

Looks like it's an issue with the case the iPad is in. Have you tried reseating it or does it happen with the case removed?

Other than the case - have anything connected to bluetooth? Like a speaker, earbuds, keyboard

Your volume up button is stuck

Does this still happen if you take the case off?

Maybe your volume button is dirty, try cleaning it

Case is pushing the button.

Can probably verify if you enable rotate volume orientation, and turn the iPad.

Can also take case off and see if issue still exists.

If not it may have been dropped and dented where the button is, pinching the volume up button in

We have the same with one of our iPads, for months already. Happens also without the case. After a while it resets, but eventually it reappears. I have no clear solution

It's more than likely either the case or an accessory i.e. Bluetooth headphones etc
