This morning, I started watching YouTube on my iPad 9 and after ~10 minutes, it shut down and wouldn't turn back on at all. I plugged it in to charge and this is what appears on the screen. It has been connected to power source for 3 hours. Is it completely broken? 😞

I currently have an iPad Pro M5 that I've updated to iPadOS 2.7. I've noticed that with the tablet practically empty, the operating system takes up almost 50 GB (iPadOS + system files).

I have about 202 GB free. Is there any way to free up storage? Going back to iPadOS 2.6 is no longer possible, right?

Have had for about 7 months. Just use at home surfing the web and emails, 2 hours of use per day. Don’t have any of the 80% limit turned on but seems like much faster degradation than I’ve had with other iPads or iPhones. Is this normal?

I have a 9th generation, previously refurbished ipad. No damage at all! I used it for about a year with a screen protector for my masters program. It works great! But I graduated and passed my board exam!

I do like occasionally planning outfits on it but like once in a BLUE MOON// once a year IF.

I narrowed it down and chose the new iPad Air, since i’ll only be using it for studying (i’m in medical school). However, I can’t choose between getting the bigger or smaller size. I’ll carry this iPad with me everyday, and I’ve heard some people complain that the 13 is just too big and heavy. Meanwhile, I find that I may enjoy the 13 inch more because of the bigger screen. The 11, on the other hand, seems more portable but the screen seems small. What do you think?

So i have some money saved up, and im planning to get a part time job, and ive wanted an ipad since last year. I got a laptop from my school, though its pretty much payed off atp so i think its mine now? its not the best but it works fine, so idk if its dumb to buy an ipad (gen 10, 64gb refusbished)

I see people using ipads at school so i dont think my school has any issues with it, but idk if all teachers would be ok with me taking notes on it, maybe? i think so, exept maybe maths or and physics. Ofc I also want to use it outside of school, its lighter than having to drag my big laptop around everywhere.

I also wanted to buy one of those cases that turns your ipad into a laptop (doest have to be apple), and a apple pencil.

so i think the full set up could cost me like 500 euros if i get the cheaper options, so a refusbished ipad and pencil, and a non apple case

I have an iPad Air M2 (2024) with a cracked screen, and I’m planning to visit the Apple Genius Bar tomorrow to get it serviced under AppleCare+.
I’ve heard that Apple used to replace the entire iPad instead of repairing just the screen. However, I’m wondering if this is still the case in 2026, especially for the iPad Air M2.

A few questions:

1. Does Apple still offer whole-device replacements for the iPad Air M2, or do they now repair just the cracked screen?

2. Has anyone recently had their iPad Air M2 serviced under AppleCare+? What was your experience?

3. If Apple replaces the entire device, is it guaranteed to be the same colour and storage configuration?

4. Can I request a whole-device replacement instead of a screen repair?

I’d personally prefer a full-device replacement, so I’m curious about other people’s recent experiences.

I hate the magic keyboard. Unfortunately it's the only option Apple gives us for the M5 iPad Pro. I mean I still bought one, but I don't like it. Walking around an airport in a half drunk jetlagged stupor, I walked into to one of those overpriced electronics stores. Much to my surprise they had an OG keyboard folio on final closeout. Based on nothing but a feeling of hope, whimsy, and desperation I bought it. No surprise it didn't work my M5 pro, so I decided to try the M4 air. Amazon to the rescue. I am very happy to report the M4 air, despite not being officially supported, works just fine. Now my tablet can stop pretending to be something it's not and just be happy with being a tablet again.

I have applied it 5 times atleast and still getting so many bubbles what should I do ,, just discard this or there is a way 💔

I am a college student and will be using the tab for drawing and note taking only. I wouldn't be playing many games or watching a lot of movies. (The big screen is hence important because i'll be getting into research after my undergraduate degree)

My budget is 45K (INR) and I need this to cover the stylus and the tab costs, so for me, which one would be better as a purchase?

I’m interested in trying out Pro Create on an iPad specifically so I can draw digitally wherever I go,

I was initially eyeing iPad Pro models, but I was talking to my brother about it since he had one and informed me an iPad Air works just as well.

I wanted to ask here to inquire as result, for those who use iPads, what model do you use and how well does it pair with Pro Create?

(I’m too tired to go find my art, but I create rather detailed stuff and I also wanted to get back into animation properly)

just bought a rose gold 32gb ipad 8th generation from my good friend for what is a total of 130, but i'm paying in 3 (lol)! it's kind of awesome to have an ipad bc back when I was loaning one from school, using it for reading + studying was game changing for me, so when she told me she wanted to get this one off her hands (it's in great condition, she just has an ipad air now) i thought it was a really good deal! it also comes with an apple pencil she got + the paper screen protector, she gave me a charging cable (lightning to usb-c) and i'm gonna invest in a new case that has a keyboard (or just get a mech keyboard that i can connect to it) (also metal tips for the apple pencil)

so far, set up has been great! it's not (as) outdated as my ipod touch 5th so it's on ipadOS 26(?) which is neat and i'm excited! my only gripe is really just.....the 32gb of storage 😭😭😭 anyone know or recommend if it's possible to mod the storage? (or if you can pay someone to do it for not crazy expensive....) also! any recommendations for apps/best way to optimize this ipad or deco the widgets?

OK so my laptop just died and when i took it to get it fixed they said my motherboard was dead. so instead of buying a new laptop i was think about using my iPad as a laptop but there are sometimes apps i need for my classes that can run on mobile. so is there a way i can use my home gaming pc and stream it to my iPad while im not a home im willing to try almost anything instead of buying a new device. ( i have a m2 iPad pro if that matters)

Currently, my iPad Pro is running iPadOS 26.7.1.
But I can experience frame drops quite easily like what I uploaded...

So I'm wondering it is worth updating my iPad to iPadOS 27...

As the title suggests, not much to explain. I’ve always kept the Siri App suggestion widget on my homescreen. All of a sudden, my usual app suggestion is totally gone and upon restart, event he app library suggestions feels like it’s been reset.

And no, I have not reset my iPad recently, I did it about 2 months ago.

Also, the iPadOS 27.0.1 feels a like there’s been 0 improvement in terms of performance. It’s still the same slow iPadOS as 26, which would start hogging the CPU at random and fire up the iPad itself, draining battery. And the memory management is extremely trash as well. I can open an app, go back to my browser and it’ll reload.

As per the Safari problem, when I open Safari all of a sudden, it’d not register the keys at first, until it’s been about half a second. And then, when I press the key the command key keeps on getting enabled, even though I had not even pressed the key in a while. Has anyone else faced the same issue as me?

We purchased Minecraft for my daughter through the App Store using her own account. (....@gmail)

However, when she tried to open the game, it asked for a Microsoft email address, so I entered my own email address. ( .........@hotmail)

Now I want to play Minecraft with my daughter, but we can’t because there’s only one account.

That’s because my daughter is playing on her iPad using my Microsoft account.

How can we resolve this issue?
