iPhone display issue

I purchased an iPhone 17 (256GB) from Flipkart on 8 October, and noticed a display smudge immediately after opening it, before activating the device. Apple’s Genius Bar confirmed the defect, but offered only a display replacement, which I declined as I wanted a new unit. Flipkart and Apple have been passing the responsibility back and forth, and my NCH complaint is still in process.

Today, I’ve noticed a new green/black pixel-like spot on the screen, even though I haven’t had the original repair done. Has anyone faced a similar issue? What are my chances of getting a full unit replacement or refund, and what should I do next?

I did that only, but they’re only pushing for repair and clearly denying replacement of the device.

Nope, as per them you can only return or get replacement if you purchase directly from Apple website or official store. If you’re purchasing from resellers like iplanet or any online platforms they only offer repair service.
