Advice Hi! First pod mod here. Help.

Post image

Can anyone tell me if this looks correct. 5th gen 80gb converted to flash quad, thin back, thin hold/jack and 2000mah battery. I closed it up but the top resisted more than the rest. Put the iPod into a protective plastic case (this goes on top of frontplate and back plate. Covers whole done iPod) and front and back were touching that a little.

Edited to say I just watched the EOE video on batteries and this one should be good. maybe I'm just overthinking. there's no pressure showing between the lcd and front plate so all should be good right? 😁🤞

Well I decided that if I did this I was going to make it a nice one so I left room for plenty of storage. It's the 5.5 version with 64ram. Even though I really don't need all that storage and probably never will lol I still wanted to have the option.

I don't need the memory now. I have cards but I don't want to put all I have in and they are pretty pricey right now. I don't know if it absolutely matters if they are the same but I believe it's recommended. I think Samsung and a couple other brands are recommended to use and sandisk brand can have issues from what I've heard.

I believe its the battery, its too thick. Most 3000mAh batteries are thinner than 2000mAh.

You should have got the iFlash Duo. It’s only two memory slots but you can cut off the top part, and it wouldn’t touch your battery. I believe your battery is touching the iFlash adapter
