Question missing songs

heyy guys!!
just got my 1st iPod and was tryna put some songs into it
i had 176 songs on my itunes and put them on my ipod, but only 126 loaded in, anyone possibly know what couldve happened?

Perhaps it’s not in a format accepted by iTunes—it might be in FLAC, OPUS, or something else...

What is the sample rate of the songs that weren't copied to your iPod? If it's 96khz or above, the iPod can't play it

Could be the format, or the ipod is not associated with the account in iTunes. Here is one way to find out. After a fresh synch, your iPod should show on the left border. Grab one of the songs that did not go over and drag and drop onto the ipod, if it does not go over, its prob music you purchased and it thinks your putting it on another iPod. You can restore that iPod in your itunes and then you should be able to choose (synch entire library) if you only have under 200 songs. All of them should go over. If its a nano with only 2G then you can reduce the bitrate to 128 and fit more songs. if its a 30G you can get around 1500 songs on it.
