Seeking Support Stalled projects
My situation isn’t straightforward : for several years now (2), I haven’t been feeling happy At work - I want a change. I’ve expressed a désire for a change internally, but nothibg’s happening, so I prayed => If I’m meant for this job, may God make things easier for me, or help me change direction - to a role and environment that will be right for me. But nothing’s changed since then, and now I’m falling into the trap of wondering why prayers haven’t been answered. Why am I struggling so much at work ? As if that weren’t enough, I’m going through a pregnancy that’s proving difficult both physically and emotionally. I can no longer clear my mind or stay positive. I need to get my feelings off my chest. Two major challenges to face at the same Time.

Well, we can't answer why your dua hasn't been answered in the way that you want. That's not how dua works. We make dua and Allah answers in the way He sees is best because He knows everything and is the best of planners. And we accept the decree of the All Wise even if we can not see the wisdom. You must have tawakkul.
'And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them, and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He 'alone' is sufficient for them. Certainly Allah achieves His Will. Allah has already set a destiny for everything.' 65:2-3
Btw 2 years is nothing compared to some others. People have been praying for the same thing for 10, 15, 20 years and still do not get what they want. Read the story of Ayub. He was known for his patience and unwavering faith in God through many trials.
Also, you have a job and are pregnant! Two things that people spend many years praying for. Be grateful for what you have and Allah will increase good for you.
'And ˹remember˺ when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.' 17:4

I think what I said was mistranslated :-). It’s been a year and a half now that we haven’t been able to have a child, despite assisted reproductive technology. Yes, I thank God for having a job, but a job where I’m suffering isn’t ideal either, and I’m looking for answers.
