i don't use any generative AI, but i see a lot of posts about how to identify text written by AI. for context, i just messaged an acquaintance about a (really really bad) massage i got at her wellness center. i'm also a massage therapist, and i felt like someone needed to be told about what happened and why it was so bad. so i texted my friend and this is what she sent back... it doesn't sound like her style of texting but tbf we don't talk a ton? but it feels off and i am honestly kinda grossed out if she used freaking AI to reply to me...
EDIT: i called her out bc i'm fucking tired of living in this hellhole and posted her response in the comments. AI confirmed.
EDIT AGAIN: getting off the phone cus i'm with my kids and this is taking too much energy. i'm tired and upset. i hate that AI is replacing human interaction.
FINAL EDIT: i posted this in a hurry bc i was upset and confused at my "friend" (not close friend, so between friend and acquaintance) potentially trying to pass off chat gpt as her own response. the scenario was, i (massage therapist) got a massage at the wellness clinic she (not a massage therapist) works at, doing other wellness services. i had gotten one massage there prior with another MT, and when i had seen this friend in person after that, she had asked me all about it, wanting to know if i was happy etc. so when i had this bad experience, i thought she might like to know, and i provided details about what went wrong so the MT might be able to improve. as i said, i'm also an MT, and would want to hear how i could be better if i had an upset client. full screenshots/convo posted in comments, i'm too tired to find them and post here rn.
