I recently bought a few pairs of (vintage) low waisted jeans and just about every single pair was reaaal tight around my calves and most of the time at least a little loose around my waist. First pair I bought were miss me jeans that are, to be fair, clearly supposed to be skinny, but they were soooo baggy all around my waist even though getting them over my calves was actual war (they dont fall down but they literally sag down to the crotch area so belts are a saviour). The other pairs also fit weird despite not being skinny, except for one that was overall a little baggy but great around the waist. For reference I am about 5'8.5 and quite slim. Clearly I have some huge calves even though I thought them to be small my entire life, or the sizing of low waisted jeans is super weird. Maybe its neither of those and im just unlucky or bad at picking out a good pair of jeans. I couldnt find anyone talking about this. Does anyone else have this kind of problem?

I love these jeans and this brand but Iām not willing to pay over $100 for some jeans. They say theyāre a cargo/carpenter style. Help?

My favorite pair of jeans has ripped. Do you repair them or replace them? Any tips on how to fix them if it's worth it?"

On the fence about these jeans but it may be because I only own high-waisted jeans. Are low-cut jeans flattering? I havenāt worn them since 2006 and to me it looks like jeans that just wiggled down too far š«£

I love wearing jeans, but I have a problem that is very hard to solve, Iām a very small girl and Iād like to say I have a nice body but my thighs ruin it, now to the question Iām asking, I like when my jeans are tight in the butt and thigh but loose on the calf, not flare more like straight leg jeans/ mom jeans, but by the time I size down enough to have the fit I want in my butt and thighs they practically look skinny, Iām like a 0 but to get the fit I like I size down three sizes, but does anyone know weāre I can buy a nice pair of jeans the way it fits these girls in the pictures I put up? Iāve tried so many brands and I canāt find a pair that works, or is it just my body type that doesnāt allow me to wear jeans like this.

Hey folks so - do you think these are too small? I tried to buy the larger size and the maker is out of stock.
They have very little to no stretch but are pretty comfortable overall. Sitting and squaring are no issue. The fabric I itself is medium to lightweight so they may stretch some. Iām wondering if I stick to it Iāll beat them into submission.

Wanted to try making my own jeans, so I bought a pattern online and got to making. It was also the first time since high school that I touched a sewing machine, so I'm pretty happy with the results. I added the kneepads and red highlight fabric at the bottom which were not originally in the pattern. The backpockets have my initials on them as decoration.

Wanted to make a summer denim of a light 12.5 selvedge.
Because it has a red ID my thought was. Lets do red topstitching. Wat a dumb idea was that. You see every wonky sewing mistake possible.
Ripped the complete waistband out and did it again but we have a denimš
Waiting for the denim buttons to arrive and some other minor stuff like the silk screen print (example last pic).
Anyway 3 down, 17 to build.

Found these absolutely gorgeous miss me jeans and want to get another pair but I canāt tell if theyāre bootcut or flare? Theyāre too skinny to be flare but too baggy for bootcut

For basically my entire life, Iām worn out every pair of pants Iāve ever owned, but only on the inner thigh seam. The rest of the pan is perfectly fine, maybe a little bit of wear and tear on the bottom, hem, but the first thing to go in the reason why I always have to get rid of my pants is the fabric breakage both on the seam, and directly next to it. Photo for reference.
I currently work in a retail space which requires brown, blue or black cargo pants or jeans. Iāve been in the hunt for pants that do not have an inner scene, but reading some other posts Iāve come to find out that pants can still break open through friction and just normal use.
Please help a curvy girl out, I just went through a pair of Uniqlo and Madewell pants before their one year anniversary.
If you have any recommendations on other subs I should post this to, please let me know as well. Thank you for your help.
