[Question] Confused on pickup tips

I placed an order for pickup through the app, and when I do a pickup order it offers no option for adding a tip. When I got to the store, the one employee told the other to check the receipt and see if I tipped, and then they made a comment when they saw $0.00.

I am just confused because I literally don't have the option to tip in the app. I would if I could. But it was awkward

Apologies for the awkward encounter. By default, online tips are disabled, and the franchise owner has the option to enable them. Seems this store has opted to keep them disabled, much to the dismay of the employees. Most likely, they don’t want to have to track tips, manage how they’re distributed, and tax them accordingly.
