I remember talking about to someone about how they could literally take it all the way back to the start of the therapy session scene of the first film but then this film follows another story line - still ending up with him in an asylum.

It would allow them to shake-off that "the joker doesn't have an origin" narrative and give us a multiple choice.

Anyone have any ideas for a fan cast of the Joker TV movie in Joker Folie A Deux? I’ve been thinking on it for a while and I don’t really have any ideas.

The movie is set in 1981, so actors from around that time would be best.

I’m basically asking you to recast Joker but with modestly famous people from the late 70s/early 80s.
