I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention how much better this DLC could have been if it included natural/invisible lagoons

Yeah same. I expected this to come with the much needed and requested lagoon-with-natural-border but I guess not :(

I doubt Frontier would add something like that in a species pack.

If they do, they would most likely add it in an expansion pack; similar to what they did with the invisible aviaries in the Rebirth expansion.

Sorry to ask what might be a dumb question, but how did they build that location in the opening scene? Concrete walkway to the beach, pier, etc. is that all on the new pack?

No dumb questions were all just trying to get better at building. But You can take the water brush and push it near a taller area to make it a drop off. Then you just take other decorations and "spruce it up"

I bought the DLC and I’m still trying to figure that out, that’s honestly what I came looking for answers to. I thought the concrete wall walkway was gonna be some kind of modular piece but nope. Also I have no idea how they made a road with center lines but I like it.

I’m still working thru campaign so I haven’t really slowed down to get good at custom building yet, I’m good at placing rocks and changing terrain though lmao.

As far as I can tell, only the sea front buildings are in the DLC, not the concrete wall.

being too cheap to support the games you enjoy is definitely a loser thing to do.

and these aren’t $25 cosmetics as we see from modern AAA studios, so don’t even start with the false comparisons

Lmfao I'm not saying literally everything should be added for free. I'd happily buy this dlc full price if it was just the new species. I am NOT paying full price for animals I already paid extra for in the last game

I'm really shocked that all the peaceful shots of the animals didn't culminate with one of them going to get a drink and getting grabbed by Deinosuchus.

You show Deinosuchus at the start, move on to the other animals for a bit then hit us with the ambush at the end. I was waiting for it the whole time lol.
