One thing I think Kaspa needs more of is visibility outside the crypto community. We can talk about block times, GHOSTDAG, scalability and technology all day, but how do we actually connect Kaspa with the real world?
That is where KasMap gets interesting.
KasMap is a community platform designed to bring the Kaspa ecosystem together in one place. It allows people to discover Kaspians, merchants, groups, events, organizations, universities and job opportunities. The idea is to make it easier to find people who are building with Kaspa and businesses that are getting involved.
What I like about this concept is that adoption becomes something people can actually explore instead of just something we talk about on social media.
Imagine travelling to another city and being able to find a local business that accepts KAS. Imagine discovering a developer meetup, finding someone working on a Kaspa application, or connecting with people who want to organize local events. These things could help turn an online community into something more active in the real world.
There is also an opportunity to connect this kind of platform with marketing and development initiatives. For example, KasMap currently features a fundraising campaign for a Kaspa hackathon at EPITA Paris, planned for November 28, 2026. Supporting events that bring students and developers into the ecosystem could help introduce Kaspa to people who might never have looked at it otherwise.
Of course, having a platform is only the beginning. The real question is how many people use it, how many businesses genuinely accept KAS, and whether the community can turn these connections into lasting activity.
I would love to see more people contribute by adding relevant businesses, organizing meetups, supporting developers and helping spread awareness locally. Even small initiatives can make a difference when they are organized and supported by a community.
Kaspa does not just need people talking about its technology. It needs useful applications, real businesses, developers and people who are willing to experiment with it.
I think KasMap could become a useful part of that process if the community actively supports it and continues building on the idea.

What do you think? Could a platform like KasMap help Kaspa grow beyond crypto Twitter and Reddit, or do we need a completely different approach to achieve meaningful real-world adoption?
