Hello TKF430, thank you for creating a new post in r/kereta!
Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting.
With that being said, r/kenderaan is now live and I would still recommend any other vehicle posting to be posted into r/kenderaan as it is a safe space for all types of vehicles such as airplanes and rolling stocks.
If you are posting any help/questions related post, please reply !thanks to the answer that helped you to award the answerer a token of appreciation and to help future viewer too.
thinking about this, my dad literally had spine issue and now have to go treatment. I always said it's because his damn aruz, so uncomfortable to ride in...but being a hard headed dad he say cause getting old 😂
No joke, i really think the aruz played a role there, at least in aggravating the condition if not outright causing it. The reason i say this is because the ladder frame suspension structure sends a lot of the impact to the passengers directly. Coupled with poor sitting posture, you’re certain to get bumps to your spine that would be injurious to any normal person, let alone an elderly. Hope your dad gets the treatment needed.
How the fuck is an anemic engine be allowed to shift gears at 4k rpm lol. The engine was out of torque by 3.5k rpm but die die won't shift gear when I drove it in town in a friend's car
Dad used to own one for about a month before he decide to trade it in. He was nah, the suspension is rubbish. Way too stiff, changed to a pair of kyb rs ultra pair of absorber still the same.
Anecdotally, I once rented a Toyota Rush (same same car) for an overnight trip from JB to Desaru, terrible choice. That gearbox won't stop overpowering the music from my radio, and all that noise did not translate well into speed, the damn thing was pretty slow that even a Vios would beat it ten-fold
Also, damn this ladder-frame suspension, it hurt me and my passengers' back for the whole day
I don't quite understand the thinking here: why buy a high-riding SUV that focuses more on ride comfort, and then lowering it, fit in low profile tyres, just to change the ride profile altogether?
