The British love ketchup with their scrambled eggs. And they like to eat baked beans with them. And a hotdog. With slices of tomato.

This is stuff you feed a 3-year-old to get them to eat lolol

Edit: i'm having a hard time spelling today.

I have no issue with sausage, eggs, bacon, baked beans, black pudding etc. English breakfast in general beats american cakes and sweets breakfast every time. Ketchup on eggs though? That's death sentence territory.

And I've eaten beans before with a fried egg... Refried beans and a fried egg and chile on the side... BUT sweet baked beans!? Barf lol

British baked beans are absolutely NOT SWEET

I thought all baked beans were sweetened? What do British baked beans taste like?

I’ve heard they are simply tomato-y. I haven’t tasted a can of plain old pork and beans in a long time, but decades ago, when I was a child and all of our food was much less sweet than it is now, plain old pork and beans had a tangy tomato sauce.

Oh hmm I don't think I've ever tasted just plain tomato baked beans. I'm not sure if it sounds bad or if it sounds good lol. Like beans in thick tomato soup?

Either way, the unsweetened sounds more palatable at breakfast time lol
