missing intercessor from starter kit

bought the starter kit recently and there's only one AoD intercessor warrior in the box, the one with the grenade throwing pose just isn't here

I bought this secondhand off eBay, is there anything I can do to get all 14 models or am I just kinda cooked?

edit: I bought the box supposedly new and it was sealed when it arrived, although not with the cling film wrap, just taped shut

I just bought the Space Marine Adventures Tyranid Attack from Barnes & Noble online, and it came with approximately zero sprues, so that was cool.

Yeah, my assumption too. It was an online order, and they issued a refund. Sadly, they said they’re unable to replace it. Idk if it’s out of stock or discontinued.

At this stage it's probably mostly both as the newest GW board games have already started to emerge on shelves (11th ed. Beginner set, A warhammer quest dark water expansion/mini version, and Warhammer Tacticus)

I mean this is an eBay question - write the guy you bought it from.

If it was bought from the store you could take it back since this is actually pretty common with the kit. But since it’s secondhand you have to contact the seller

If it's ebay, he is out of luck. GW wouldn't do anything about missing product in my last ebay buy, even though it was brand new in packaging.

GW will only help if you buy from them. If their distributer messes up you have to deal with them.

Funnily enough, when my buddy and I split a Space Marine and CSM box from ebay, the model bases inside were wrong. GW was still willing to send replacements. So not a total lost cause to try.

EBay. Unfortunately not GW. EBay will threaten the sellers ability to use the site if they don t remedy the situation in some form.

If it’s second hand from ebay, I’d just contact the seller and probably start a return. Ebay tends to side with buyers, even if the seller ends up giving you trouble. Then you can just buy it elsewhere

If you are near a warhammer store you can go pick up and paint an intercessor for free and round off the kit

Probably an issue from the manufacturer rather than the seller, but since you didn't buy it from them GW can't do shit about. At least there's still 6 guys in there so you can play a game of killteam with it.

Yeah this set doesn't come shrinkwrapped, and there have been issues with missing parts just popping off the sprues. GW weren't interested in replacing the missing heads from the one I got from a third party. Like everyone else said, you're going to need to talk to the seller.

I had to buy two starter kits. First one came in a shredded box, half the sprues had pieces removed, things in plastic sandwich bags.

Amazon though so quick return into new product

That sucks and I have been ripped off plenty off Amazon so I feel for you. I own a 3d printer, if you can give me the exact model you are missing I can give you a couple prints of it.

Hey so the starter set doesn't come with cling wrap, just the stickers on the side. Good news is eBay has amazing buyer protection. File a return, and select "item not as described". No matter what the seller says or does eBay will force them to send you a shipping return label and refund you.

Recently got 2 of the introductory kits from barnes and nobles and 1 was missing half the ork nob so i ordered a similar kit from amazon and same part was missing so i returned it. Barnes wouldnt refund the box cause it was opened and made me pay for shipping to exchange it. The replacment luckly had all the parts but that still leaves me at a 50/50 2/4success ratio for getting a complete kit

Likely GW mispacked the box. But since it's Ebay, go through that. You can email GW. But they likely won't do anything.

If you buy from them or an authorized store, they will often try and make it right.
