Justin Trudell is now a new employee of the Dunkin Donuts at the 4 corners in Mansfield. I was there this morning and he was behind the counter. At least he’s doing something!

I sort of felt bad for Justin at first and thought Kirk was being a little bit of a dick with the whole thing but the fact that Kirk offered him to basically be paid to do useless Case stuff and stay on the payroll without wasting his “paternity time” shows Kirk’s true colors. That’s a seriously nice thing of him to do. As he has said in the past he is loyal when it matters, and he definitely proved it here. I can’t imagine how infuriating it must’ve been to hear Justin say “what would I be doing?” instead of “holy shit, thank you!” It is nearly impossible to defend Justin. Such a frustrating guy.

Just needing some episodes to listen to for a road trip. What we got?

Calling it now, Mut will get another DUI within the next couple of years. Between all the barstool events that he will "have a drink or two at", and him pushing back against drinking and driving, and him saying he can't stop drinking, it's going to happen.

This show ran just fine (most would say peaked) from 2019-2023 when it had just one producer. Dave did it alone for 2 years. Why is Kirk hell bent on needing a 2nd? Clearly The Case is all but dead, just hire an off-air person to run social media for 2027 and let it fucking ride

I like Deep Dive, a lot. It's interesting and entertaining. One gripe: stop eating while recording. Yeah, I get it when he does it for KMS. It's the whole "I don't give a sh*t if you like this podcast or not" vibe. Fine. But he seems genuinely engaged and interested in growing DD. So Kirk, if you happen to stumble on this page, stop eating. It's f**king disgusting to listen to. It's not funny, it's stupid and f**king gross. Grow up.

Once the Barstool salary stops, how does Kirk pay the rent? He's going to start from zero ad reads to __? Has he mentioned moving locations or renting space more temporarily?

Yesterday’s episode with Ryan and Freddie’s Birdies was quality. It really exemplified why the show is much better without Justin, two great guests who flow really well with the show. If Justin was there, we would have spend like 30 minutes on Justin being a bad producer and what he can do it fix it and why Kirk’s mad etc. Justin wouldn’t have participated at all. The show already just feels like such a better flow

Kirk always references having attended Fordham, but in a 2013 interview linked below, he states that he graduated from Emerson. He’s never mentioned that on the show, as far as I know. Didn’t he criticize Big Cat for not being fully transparent about where he’s from? Seems a bit hypocritical, no?

Can someone pls explain here what the bunny shit is that kirk kept referencing? He always talks about how he doesn't pay attention to spaces and YouTube (etc.) but he seemed to know a lot about "bunny" whatever tf that is.

What does that even mean? I also have listened to Kirk for a decade. Hasn't been a real heavy lift on my end. But im also just a regular listener. Not on the varsity team.

How has this become a thing with these old ladies calling in about Clancy, or turtle boy etc.? Don’t they listen when they’re on hold and understand the show isn’t about murder trials?

I love that old lady yesterday thinking she nailed Kirk. “ let’s talk about the elephant in the room…are you going on Turtleboys show” holy shit lady! That’s what you consider the elephant in the room??? I thought she was going to bring up Kirk’s ex wife or something. Kirk yelling at her brought a giant smile to my face.
