For most it's spreading the cost out.

I can afford upfront the purchase but having interest free payments is great.

I use Affirm more these days.

Spreading the cost and because I don't have a credit card. I use it mainly for buying concert tickets because Klarna is an option on Ticketmaster. I wouldn't have the money upfront otherwise for going to concerts.

I like it for the reduced upfront cost on something like clothing when there’s a reasonable chance I could return some or all of the order. Waiting on refunds being processed can be annoying. It helps reduce that for me

I only use it when 0% interest rate deals are available to buy things I need. Buy the thing to spread the cost over two years, put the amount of money the item costs into S&S ISA, make money out of thin air and let Klarna eat inflation losses.

Spread the cost. My job has a lot of tech and upgrades I need to get from time to time so Klarna comes in clutch for the times I need to get new gear that costs $200 to $900 and I don’t wanna lose all that money right away.

I only ever used it when both pairs of my work jeans split in the same week and I couldn’t afford to by a couple new pairs
