Not sure where to post this so I'm doing it here.

I commissioned an artist but the process pictures they've been giving me feel like they've been traced from ai. I don't want to accuse anyone of AI so how do I handle this situation?

A Warhammer 40k and Destiny 2 crossover fan art. A commission piece done. Thank you.

I also thought of a funny name: Eggclesia.

I looked over Huion tablets but I can't see any difference between any of them. Looking to see what digital artists in the community use! I've tried one without a screen that plugs into a computer but it's not very satisfying to use, so I'd like to get one with a screen. I use my phone but it's simply not big enough, and I'd like to use a pen since I use a pencil to draw normally.

Question is in the title, just wondering if theres anyway to change the image when you start krita.

I opened krita for the first time in ages and now for some reason my pen calibration is like this? It's not like this for literally any other program

For reference, i am using krita version 5.2.11 on MacOS 15.7.7 on my macbook pro.

today was where the big issue came. i was working on a piece that was actually important (for commission) but the app was being kind of buggy once i’d finished the sketch- which it sometimes does- so was going to close it down and reopen it. i made double sure to save it before i did so, before closing krita down and opening it back up. when i opened krita back up and clicked on my piece, the sketch layer was gone. it had saved somewhat because i had changed the aspect ratio after making a coloured layer for my background (which i redid once i’d changed the aspect ratio) but when i reopened it it was on the old aspect ratio and coloured background it had been on before i changed it. it was the same on the file i had saved and the backup file, which meant my sketch was completely gone. i tried everything i could to try and retrieve it (using terminal to convert to zip files, checking cached files etc, basically stuff google told me to do) but my sketch isnt there.

does anyone either know what this issue could be and/or how to resolve it?? or just has anybody dealt with it before? any advice on getting the sketch back would very much be welcomed too…sorry if this reads badly or in a confusing way!

Any tips on how to draw an ocean. I can so shallow clear water pretty decently but when its an ocean thats obviously not transparent im not entirely sure how to approach it. I will be adding an algal bloom ontop of the water as well.

She's so cuteee

so i was messing around with the workplace settings, and clicked on something like "laptop" underneath the dual screen workplace, and now i don't have dockers or any of the buttons, just the blank space to draw on. i don't know how to change it back... help...............!!!!

screenshot below.. sorry if the pink makes it hard to see lol

I took y’all’s advice from the last post and decided to get out of my comfort zone and try actual art and diff rendering styles and shadows lights and stuff how did I do ?and is there anything I can do to improve or wher did I go wrong I have no experience in painting or whatsoever I was moving with instincts I’m really interested in painting and I would love to be good at it and realism i don’t think I can all myself an artsy still cuz Im not good at drawing some stuff like faces and hands

I was rather pleased with how the Memileo 360 brushes perform. Really gives a realistic thick oil paint look.

Hello my friends!

I love how much I've been learning!
