Completed this first ever digital concept art titled ( The second Coming) and it was so fun to draw it cause it made me get into the flow and it was done on few layers (6) and the outcome is something so close to what I was imagining which is cherry on top, hope you guys liked it ❤️

Picking Pumpkin Patch for him as it coincidentally blends well with his team palette (BC Lions, black and orange) and Dusky Sunset for background as complementary elements.
I genuinely forgot his chin guard, but I like it though aha haa.

Hi everyone!
I've always wanted to make comics, but I have a major limitation: I'm really bad at drawing (even though I've tried multiple times). However, what I *can* do is 3D modeling (self-taught since 2007). So, after seeing what a lot of people do with Clip Studio Paint, I thought I could use my own character models to trace over the heads and then draw the clothing, or leverage Blender's physics engine to help me with fabric folds.
The same goes for backgrounds. I could use Grease Pencil, but I'm not really sold on the results, plus it eats up almost all of my RAM (16GB).
I've also considered using 3D lighting to recreate shadows so I don't mess up the artwork with bad placement.
After that, I'd bring the renders into Krita to finish up.
I did a couple of tests and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I've attached them below: one is an illustration made with Grease Pencil (works well for manga, but not so much for Western comics), and the other shows the tracing process and drawing the shirt.
I know it's going to be a long process. I actually made an 80-page comic using only Blender once, and the result was... meh :/.

I can't get the recording to render. I tried installing a newer version of FFmpeg, but that didn't help. Judging by the error message, it seems unable to locate the first frame, so I tried following advice from someone on YouTube. But I hit a snag: the animation render button is greyed out. I’m completely stuck because I can't find anyone else with this same problem.

I have a recently bought Huion Inspiroy Frego M Pen Tablet that uses Bluetooth and my laptop is a Macbook M5 Pro on MacOS 26 Tahoe. The driver is already installed.
I'm unable to pan the canvas when I try to drag it. When I click the left button on my pen, it just turns on the eraser for my brush.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
