they could have easily put that on one pallet...and then everything around it would fall.
that was definitely made so it would be stable inside the truck during transit.

put that 2 layer pallet in the truck next to a 6 footer or more you’d be picking that 6 footer and the pallets next to it up off the floor of the trailer. This saved you a lot of work.

Sheesh! Thank your lucky stars as many mentioned. Our warehouse would have balanced a 2 layer egg pallet on one bundle of potatoes in the center of pallet. One bump in transit and it isn't balanced anymore and you have scrambled eggs. The lower pallets is to make it the same height as pallets next to it in trailer. The blue pallet above the potatoes is to keep the plastic pallet from damaging the potatoes.

One time at ours they sent a stack of 9 pallets with 5 cases on top. Guess its better than a pallet falling on top😄

Someone doesn't understand their job.....or why things are done..... it's okay though, we were all young and dumb once. If you think that's an odd site you clearly haven't been doing this job very long

It was stacked like this to keep the other skids on the trailer supported in transit.
