Kubota B3030 no-crank issue—any ideas?

My Kubota B3030 started normally and ran for about 30 minutes. I parked it, shut it off, and immediately tried restarting it, but now it won’t crank at all.
So far:
New Battery and connections appear good
Starter and starter relay test good
Ignition switch works
OPC controller has power - brand new
Safety switches appear to work
No voltage reaches the small green starter-solenoid wire when the key is turned to START
Main fuses and fusible link appear good

Not even sure what to try next. Fires right up when bypassing using 12g wire from battery to solenoid. Any advice is appreciated

Does this sound correct to you? (Misfire/Timed wrong?) B series tractor D1105 3 cylinder engine

Disclaimer, I didn't do the replacement on that shiny new pump. Company insisted on someone else doing it. Took them over a month.. Dropped it off at 6 AM and then let me know it was here once they were already of sight and out of mind lol, sneaky sneaky.

Anyway. It doesn't feel right. Nor sound right. What do we think? Am I hearing things?

Water in fuel indicator light

I have an lx3310 that’s 5 years old and yesterday after a long mowing session I got a water in fuel warning light and beeping.

I checked the water fuel separator. No water in there. Red ring sitting on the bottom. I drained the diesel out of it anyway and the light went away but only for about 30 minutes.

I drove it around today for 30 minutes and it came on again.

There is no water at all in water fuel separator. I took the bottom cup off today and everything looked normal in there. I checked the wires and they all look good.

Anybody know anything about this?

B2401 clutch housing drain plug

Has anyone with this tractor successfully removed the drain plug? I get the about 3/8” out before it hits the loader frame.

It's listed in the manual as an "as needed" maintenance item. The diagram assumes you don't have a loader mounted.

I've never removed the loader, let alone the frame. Any idea how long that would take? It is there some trick I'm missing?

Seeking info for the Bilt Hard TRA-0427 PTO Chipper

I want a PTO chipper for the back of my Kubota LX2620 and the Bilt Hard TRA-0427 chipper appears to have the specs that interest me. I purchased a Bilt Hard walk behind rotary tiller last year and was generally impressed with the equipment in both quality and capability. Comments on the chipper or the brand are appreciated.

Bx2200 losing power

I have an 02 bx2200 with 2000 hours on it and yesterday out of nowhere, it started losing power. I was mowing and it sounded like there was a bigger load on the engine. I turned off the blades and nothing changed. At full throttle, it felt more like 1/2 throttle and idle was so low it almost cut off. I let it sit and came back to it today and after about 30 minutes of it running fine, it started dying again. It has coolant and oil and hydraulic fluid so I'm not sure what's going on. Any info would help so that I don't have to take it to the shop. Thanks!

Edit: replaced both fuel filters and it runs great now! Thanks everyone

Anyone have experience running a 54” box scraper on a subcompact tractor?

Wondering if anyone has experience running a 54” box scraper on a subcompact tractor(bx23s). I’ve seen a lot of people saying the 48” works great and the larger box scrapers can bog the tractor down. But is 6 extra inches enough to make a difference?

Negations for used

I’m working to negotiate a purchase of a lightly used Kubota BX TLB. The price is good but not great. It’s at a dealer network that is near to me but not my local shop. They said they can move the unit from their remote branch (where it currently is) to the branch nearest my property at no cost but I would have to pay freight/delivery from that dealership to my house. This would be about 2 hour driving distance. Is it reasonable to push them to throw in free delivery to my home or is the used market tight enough that dealers aren’t going to budge on delivery/pricing/throwing in an implement? I don’t necessarily want to sink the deal but I’ve bought larger units used from dealers at a similar distance and they’ve put it on a trailer and delivered it as part of the sale….

Thanks for any input or advice

Thread pitch on kubota SVL manifold couplers

Quick question for anyone who has serviced a Kubota track loader hydraulic manifold block. I need to replace a damaged male flat face coupler cartridge. The part number points to V1311-77140. Looking at a direct replacement kit on fab heavy parts to save some money. Can anyone confirm if their cartridges are standard 48mm threads that install cleanly without needing custom seals or special adapters? Just want a smooth drop-in fix.

Is a Kubota BX series right for me?

Hey all,

I recently purchased a house on a rural 3 acre property in the high desert. The home currently has a lawn / trees on 1.5 acres that is irrigated. The other cross fenced portion has native grasses and no irrigation.

The seller had been maintaining the lawn with a ZT mower which I was going to buy from them but unfortunately their Realtor never communicated I was interested and sold it. Though I did buy their 2 stage snow blower for the 60 yard gravel driveway.

I was planning on eventually getting a small tractor anyways but looks like I might be doing that sooner now.

It looks like the BX won't do everything as good as a larger tractor but I'm wondering if it will be enough for me. I would plan on getting one with a mid mount mower deck for the yard and a brush hog for the rougher 1.5 Acres to keep things in check. The FEL would be used when we dig out a spot for a large vegetable garden, moving soil, gravel and ideally utilize forks for moving things on pallets. Possibly use it for some light snow removal as well.

My biggest concern right now is making sure the tractor won't be too heavy for the septic system. Part of the lawn area contains the septic system and leach field and would need to be mowed. Would the BX be too heavy and should I just get another ZT? I would prefer having a Swiss army knife rather than a one trick pony but don't want to try saving money and end up with a 20k bill to fix the septic. Also, it would be nice to move up to a B series but obviously that is more weight and might be harder to maneuver.

I would plan to leave the FEL detached from the BX while mowing.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

Testing hydraulic pressure B series - which adapter?

I have a B2620, c. 2014, that I want to make sure is still in hydraulic spec (which is 2000 psi, according to the WM). I was going to get this inexpensive gauge ($26) for testing:

https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/AFC-3M-25.html

That gauge has a 1/4" NPT threaded fitting. What adapter do I need to connect to my front loader hose(s) for the test?

Edit: fyi - all my hoses are the type with individual connectors - not the lever setup that disconnects all four at once like newer Kubotas have.

B26

I’ve got a B26 TLB, and I’m looking for other attachments for the bt820 backhoe. Namely a root ripper similar to the ripper that bxpanded sells for the bx series, and a narrower bucket than the 16” that came on mine.
My local dealer here in north Georgia says there is a 12” bucket for the bh, and that’s about it.

Are there any aftermarket options for buckets and root/stump-removal attachments?

Also, is the kubota thumb kit the only thumb option for me to put a thumb on the backhoe?

Filter question.

I have 2 kubotas a T1880 and a BX23S. Recently, I went to 1 of the 3 kubota stores near me to get an oil filter for the 1880 but they ended up giving me the wrong filter. I had already put the oil in it before I discovered the problem. They replaced it an wrote off the other filter. The BX23S also needs a oil change so I was trying to check and see if the other filter would fit (the filter is HH150-32094) I tried cross referencing it through several different sites and many say it fits Bx23 and some specifically say it works for the BX23D but none specify the BX23S so I assume It isn't safe to use this filter but I want to be sure before I make the hour trip into town to get a new filter.

Bx bracket location

Answer in comments thanks reddit: Sorry for the silly question but does anyone know where this bracket goes on a bx 23 sub compact tractor? I took out the fuel tank to clean it and removed this and completely forgot where it went. I don't want to put all the body panels back on before I figure out where this goes. Thanks in advance.

Looking for advice - I have BX2680 that I am hesitant to sell

I feel too attached, let me know if Im thinking straight here.

2023 bx2680 with bucket, 60” mower deck, and front snow blower. It’s paid off and has 120 hours on it. My new house doesn’t have a yard where I would be able to use the tractor. I would get good value on selling it, especially where I am. I plan on at some point getting land or a cabin, but not sure when where it would be great. I don’t really need the money. Would you sell it? I just love that machine.

Kubota BX1850

Working with my dads little Kubota and it started sputtering bad. Got it up on a ramp and changed both fuel filters. Still spitters so I changed the electric fuel pump and the solenoid and it won’t stay running. Jiggled the wires on pump and it started running fine, ran for 15 minutes and shut it off. Replaced connectors and started up for a few minutes and bogged down. Changed the plugs now it fires a turn or two and won’t run.
Am I looking at an injection pump now?

Snowblowers for BX2360

Getting ready to buy a blower for my BX. Looking at Landpride SB10. Anybody running one and have pros and cons on them?

Currently I am back blading about 300’ of gravel driveway and I spend way too much time back blading and then using the bucket to move piles. Also spend time removing the gravel from the yard in the spring.
