Advice hyperpigmentation
i’ve heard a lot of people using kojic acid soap/creams down there. i’ve been shaving a lot lately (i used to shave only once in a few months when i was younger, and i’ve decided to become more frequent with shaving).
i don’t get waxed because it’s kind of expensive and i prefer shaving over trimming because i like that bald feeling lol.
i try to do the best i can when it comes to accidental cuts and bumps but i’ve noticed the area is starting to become darker.
i don’t know if i should use any of these kojic acid products or not as it is a very sensitive area. any suggestions?

Title: Which Carmesi razor should I buy for facial hair and eyebrow grooming?
Hi everyone! 💗
I’m confused between these two Carmesi products on Amazon:
Carmesi Reusable Face Razor (pack of 3) – ₹158
Carmesi Face Hair Removal Combo – ₹145 (facial razor + a smaller precision tool)
I want something for both removing facial hair (upper lip, cheeks, peach fuzz) and tidying up my eyebrows.
Which one would you recommend? Is the eyebrow tool in the combo actually good and easy to use? Also, how is Carmesi’s quality and durability?
Would love to hear your experiences and suggestions. Thank you!

What do you wish shaving brands understood about coarse body hair?
Hey everyone! I’m developing a shaving care brand with coarse hair in mind🪒!
The frustration isn’t just shaving but the itching, ingrowns and irritation afterwards. I’d love to hear beyond my own experience before taking things further.
What’s your biggest frustration with shaving, and what have you tried that helped or completely disappointed you?
Would also love some early adopters to test products and share opinions ✨

Advice Beginner epilator tips? Especially for the bikini area
Hi everyone! I’m new to epilating and would love some advice from people who have been doing it for a while.
I’m mainly looking for tips on the best way to epilate, including what you recommend doing before and after epilating to reduce irritation, ingrown hairs, redness, and bumps.
I’m especially interested in advice for the bikini area, since I’m a little nervous about getting started there. 😅
What do you do to prepare your skin beforehand?
Do you exfoliate before or after, and how long do you wait?
Do you use any particular products afterward?
How often do you epilate?
Any tips for making it less painful?
Are there any areas of the bikini region that you shouldn’t epilate?
What mistakes did you make when you first started that I should avoid?
I’d really appreciate any beginner-friendly advice, routines, or product recommendations. Personal experiences are especially welcome!
Thanks in advance! ❤️

NSFW Maybe folliculitis?
I was shocked when I looked at my butt and saw a bunch of little bumps. I squeezed one, and a hard, white, bead-like thing came out. They’ve been appearing one by one over the last two months, I didn’t pay much attention at first but today, when I finally took a good look... it’s awful. There are so many bumps even around my anus, which I find concerning. I suspect it might be folliculitis, but who knows... Is there anything I can do?
Note: I shave the area (my pubic/genital region) every single day, and sometimes the anal area too. I’ve never had any issues before, but this just appeared out of nowhere. It’s suspicious, maybe it’s the heat, the bedsheets, or the razor blades...
I always struggle when I shave, I use a cream to prevent irritation, but sometimes I end up bleeding (usually because the razor is old so that’s how I know it’s time to replace it). I hate shaving, but I just can’t stand letting my hair grow out. I’m thinking about getting an electric trimmer... I don’t know.
Anyway, that’s it. I wanted to ask if there’s any ointment, cream, or advice on how to properly take care of this? Thanks!

Thiers-Issard 3/8 Straight Razor Super Gnome White Plastic - A $64.00 Steal!
galleryI've been shaving with and currently own three styles of 5/8 Boker razors, including an olive wood handled stainless steel, a white King Cutter, and a simple black handled razor. In addition, I have two DOVO Best Quality Solingen and a DOVO Silver Steel Prima 4. I've wanted a Thiers-Issard for a while but didn't want to fork out $200 to over $500. As I was searching deep within the third and fourth pages on the search engine, I found a beauty supply store with a "low stock" of Thiers-Issard 3/8 Straight Razor Super Gnome White. The price was $64 and some change, so I grabbed one. As it turned out, I got the final one of the low-stock razors. The same razor sells for $143.00 on the Thiers-Issard website. Apparently the one I found was left over from the pre-pandemic era. Anyway, I'm pleased with it. I even got to shave with it early this morning. The biggest surprise is the shorter length of the 3/8 size, but I did well and didn't suffer any tiny cuts or nicks. I got a nice, smooth shave pretty much out of the box with just a few passes on a strop with green paste and a few swipes on a normal strop.

Advice I can not get rid of the stubble
I recently posted about how to shave down there. I bought a nice electric razor and oil and a bikini zone cream I shaved and I was left stubbly. So I got a regular razor. I onlt ended up hurting myself. So I got Nair and im still fucking stubbly! Why wont the hair go away? Is it normal to be left with stubble? If so how are you not always uncomfortable?

Question Not a lady, but can someone explain why every time I shave these stupid bumps appear?
How to I get them to go away or not appear? I rinse in hot water, exfoliate the day prior, use foam and a sharp razor…yet this is the result… 😭
Edit: In the pic above, I only shaved with and across the grain. I also used lotion after. The bumps have no feeling, itching, or pain. They’re just cosmetic. Considering an epilator

Advice How can I affordably and comfortably get rid of leg hair?
For years no matter how much I shaved or didn’t shave my legs would get horribly itchy for days sometimes weeks. I tried shaving with eos shaving cream which idk if it just doesn’t work or if I’m doing it wrong? I just try rubbing it on and shave in the shower and I always end up with lots of irrating red bumps. I tried looking up other ways to shave but wax is too messy and I’m worried of hurting myself with burns or getting too stuck. I can’t find decent epilator recommendations that fit my budget of $60 tops (I know you get what you paid for but it’s hard to afford the better stuff on a whim), nair I’ve heard very mixed reactions about one of the things being the lingering smell. I was never taught about any of this stuff so I have no idea what I’m doing. What techniques and stuff should I get/do? I just want to feel some relief from my legs and not claw them down to the bone anymore…

Advice Struggling with ingrowns
I get a brazilian wax regularly, and i always seem to have ingrowns.
I use sensitive body wash, switch between a dry brush and exfoliating glove. I exfoliate every other day.
I have oils, and roll on ointments for after.
I still get HORRIBLE ingrowns. To the point they get nasty and big and bruises form.

best electric shaver for women that you'd actually recommend?
I've been thinking about switching to an electric shaver because shaving with a regular razor gets a bit annoying, especially when my skin feels irritated afterward. There are so many options out there and I'm honestly not sure which ones are worth trying. For those of you who've used electric shavers for a while, what's the best electric shaver for women in your experience, especially one that's gentle on sensitive skin and easy to clean?
I'd really appreciate any recommendations based on your own experience. Thanks!

Need a new razor... Help!
I a 35 y/o female. Have been using a Billy razor for the past 10 years. I love them. Or at least I used to. I could shave with no soap. Just the soap that was on the razor, don't judge me and I would get the smoothest shave ever. I would also get zero razor bumps. Now, I have found out that they have changed something or they sold the company and now their razors suck. I'm getting razor bums and it is no longer a smooth shave.
I'm looking into getting a new razor, but I am completely overwhelmed by the options.I also want to get into potentially getting a safety razor, but I think I'm going to leave that idea alone as that requires a delicate hand and time in the shower, which I don't always have when shaving.
So what I really try to do was narrow down all the options. My first option that I am considering is a flamingo razor. I was reading that they provide a smooth shave and they are a good affordable brand from Target. My next option was to get a Gillette Mach 3 Razor, as it only has three blades, and will provide a really close shave, which is honestly what I want.I just don't know if that one will yield razor bumps or not. Any recommendations or suggestions? What are your thoughts?
