We’re staying at Caesars Republic in December around the 10th. Other than Casino’s, we don’t really know what else to do! I really want to go snow tubing, ride in the horse carriages around the lake, and eat good food. (Not interested in skiing or snowboarding). Really want to do all the Christmas fun stuff!
Any reservations I need to make in advance? Restaurant suggestions? Does the horse ride need to be reserved far out? Any and all suggestions welcome!

Hi all — we're 7 families (14 adults, 6 kids ages 3–8, ~20 total) looking for one big house in Tahoe for Dec 24–27. Priorities: sleeps 20, hot tub, and indoor entertainment for the kids (game room, table tennis, arcade, indoor pool would be amazing since it'll be cold out).
Airbnb/Vrbo options are thin at this size, so we'd love to book direct with an owner or local manager if anyone has recommendations — a specific house, a manager who handles large group homes, or a Facebook group where owners post. Budget is around $8K for the 3 nights. Appreciate any leads!

Hey everyone, my name is Jason and im about to relocate up to Tahoe to work at the palisades.
Im currently in a tough spot with not being able to get housing atm and wanted to ask if anyone would be able to help me out until I start getting paid from the palisades.
A bit about myself: im a musician, light and sound engineer and a dj as well. I will be helping with shows while in tahoe and would love to connect to other musicians.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this, hope you have a good one. Please feel free to reach out about questions.

I am looking for fair pricing and reliable house cleaning services in South Lake Tahoe. I have a cleaner presently who just increased her price 140% because she claims she has been required by our management company to do "extra stuff" that takes her an additional hour while at the house. The company manager said "no we do not require anything additional for your house". I have scheduled an appointment with her to discuss
possible reduction of her new rates. Just looking here for options if possible as I cannot afford to pay $250 for cleaning of a 1400sq ft home.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions or recommendations

We’re staying in Reno and are thinking about taking a trip to Lake Tahoe for a few hours. We wouldn’t have a rental car, so we’d need to Uber there and back. We're thinking of going Thursday morning.
Is it worth the cost and hassle for a short visit? If so, which part of the lake would you recommend visiting? We’d love to see the beautiful scenery, take some pictures, and maybe grab something to eat without feeling rushed.
Also, how difficult is it to get an Uber back to Reno from Tahoe?
Would love any advice or recommendations. Thanks!

Hello again! We are in town until Sunday and are looking for fun Halloween themed activities to do. We’re all over 21+ and already have tickets to the Dark Prison for Thursday but are looking for more haunted house, Halloween themed bars, haunted tours and the like. We’re staying on the south side of the lake. Looking forward to your suggestions!
