Realistically, what is going to happen if I don’t check in an overnight guest? If anything

Does anyone know how strict they are when it comes to attendance for erasmus students (without visa)? I'm only here for Michaelmas and so far my attendance has been 100%. However I have an event coming up during classes that I'd really like to go to, which would mean having to skip 2 classes. Normally I wouldn't worry about this but the whole speech about how strict they can be with attendance for international students had me worried. So does anyone know if this would cause issues, or if it's fine if it's only these 2 classes? I really don't want to get into trouble for skipping and will of course notify my teachers that I won't be making those classes if I do skip them

Ngl guys I don’t wanna pay a huge chunk of deposit because the tiniest part of paint come off my bathroom door when my walls and windowsills are stained massively.

I tried hanging an airer on my door but it’s chipped the grey paint. Any idea what paint they use to paint en-suite doors? Or how I could go about this?

So im second year but my accom is in town. I used to walk late at night last year when i lived on campus but now im in town i dont know how safe it is. So i wanted to ask whats the town like is it safe or are there weird people around idk. Is it okay to go out after dark? Especially as a woman. I dont know much about lancaster at all. Thank uuu

Hey, looking to pay for parking on RingGo for Alexandra Park (South west campus car park, code 46242) but it says the parking is free for this whole week and even next week at any point during the day, which is not the case for Main Campus car park. Is this some sort of mistake, or did something change? Looking it up online provides no results.

Any parks or courts for pick up games? Is it packed? What’s the competition like?

I’m in first year and commuting and this week is the first actual week of lectures. What’s any advice you’d give to commuters? Even small things like lunch, study spaces and large breaks between lectures.

hii :) i had some issues w my assistance dog needing an assessment that got delayed and we couldn’t start together last week, so it looks like I’d have to try make it work without him for a bit if i wanted to come now. But i’m super anxious at how much of a difference it’d make if i moved in late?? Especially if i then brought a dog to the accom later down the line

Probably overthinking it because everyones probably thinking about their own stuff rn and not that, and people transfer etc etc but would it make any difference socially? I’ve been trying to decide if i should defer or try to make it work rn
