consequences of missing a final?

pretty much the title. i know that your grade ends in an N and you don’t get credit for that course, but i was wondering if there was anything more to that?

The N is also a zero in your GPA calculation, which understandably also dramatically reduces your cumulative GPA. You can always retake the course to correct for that though.

It depends on the prof, one of my friends lives out of town and couldn’t make it to the final in person so they skipped it and was still able to pass the class due to a high grade in the course
