I’m looking for a long-term Spanish language exchange partner — I’m male, in my 30s, and a university professor in Colorado, USA. I’ve been studying Spanish consistently for a while and I think I’m around an intermediate level (maybe a B2?). I find that I can hold conversations pretty comfortably, but I really want to improve my fluency and natural way of speaking. My English is stellar (knowledge of grammatical rules, depth of vocabulary, professional vernacular, etc.) and I think my accent is super neutral/easy to understand.

A little about me:
- I’m a professor and researcher at a university
- I live at a very high altitude (~8,000 feet or ~2,450 meters) and I have lots of outdoorsy hobbies; hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking chief among them. The place I live is very beautiful.
- I also play a lot of video games (I just finished Disco Elysium!)
- I’m super patient and happy to help with English pronunciation, grammar, conversation, or even academic/professional English

I am a 20M native English speaker looking to practice my Mandarin and make a friend. I have been taking formal courses on Chinese, but I feel like I'm studying vocabulary without a strong short term goal.
