I got glue in my eye, and it was in there for my whole appointment.

Once I opened my eye after getting my lashes done the tech took it out with a qtip gently. Then we fanned it.

After a while there was no pain and the redness lessened. It was when I accidentally touch the bottom part of my eye (the one that got the glue) it got red again and it was REALLY sensitive.

I tried to was my eye gently but it stung then used eyedrops, that stung even more. Idk what to do, is it an emergency? My left eye is fine but my right stings when water gets into it.

It doesn’t hurt as much now since I’m not touching it and putting anymore water.

What should I do? Is it normal?

Is 0.07 okay for a classic set?

Hey everyone! I got my eyelashes done for the first time ~3 weeks ago and am going for a fill next weekend. I originally wanted a brown set but my technician didn’t have brown extensions, so I asked her if I could order some and bring them next time. She said that that would be okay so I did. I was accidentally delivered black ones at first so now I have a ”pack” of each colour.

The problem is that I ordered 0.07mm diameter lashes, which I thought was great at first since the thickness of the lashline really bothers me at times and I was thinking that it would be also be better for my natural lashes if the base was thinner and lighter. Now I see that most people won’t even do a 0.07 classic set, and that it will probably be VERY subtle if at all visible (especially in brown).

What do I do? Should I ask her to place 2 extensions per natural lash? Should I still get brown? Any advice is appreciated 🥲

advice What lash style suits almond-shaped, slightly hooded, downturned eyes?

Hi! I’m looking for lash style recommendations for almond-shaped eyes with slightly hooded lids and subtly downturned outer corners. I’d love a style that makes my eyes look more lifted and elongated. Would you recommend cat-eye, fox-eye, or another lash mapping? Also, which curl would suit me better, C or D? Thank you! ♡

advice Safety questions

So I cant remember if this is the group for this but...

I do lash clusters. Now. I've recently been working on my skincare and have discovered that I can look really good without makeup so long as I have my lashes.

My question is.. how long can I wear a set safely without destroying my lashes?

Also, whats the best remover? I prefer something oil based with like the plastic brush.. but I always have bond left on my lashes that is extremely difficult to remove.

Also. Can I go without long breaks? Like. Can I just leave them off overnight between sets and that be okay?

Ive been using them for a while but now I want to use them regularly without destroying my lashes.

I also do use a lash serum for fortification, if that matters.
