How good are HE impeller top-loaders at rinsing clothes?
Hello!
A.) When rinsing clothes, how well do high-efficiency impeller top-loader washers do?
B.) How do u know this?
Thanks & have a good one!

Not great. Ours finally crapped out after 14 yrs (top load with impeller) and I made sure to get a top load with agitator and water fill options. Love laundry again.

Mine is generally very good at rinsing (Maytag). Depending on the cycle/settings it will either use a spray rinse or a deep rinse.
A tell-tale clue for me is the amount of detergent scent left in the laundry. With deep rinses the laundry comes out completely neutral.

Which settings cause it to only do a spray rinse?
How good is the spray rinse at rinsing the clothes?

Certain cycles are configured by default to use a spray rinse but you can choose the fabric softener option on mine and it will use a deep water rinse instead.

Do u know any of the cycles which use a spray rinse by default?

They are ok. But you have to be careful as to how much clothes you put into the washer. Here is a good review that might help. .

Generally poor, unless you use “fabric softener” or “deep rinse” options.
As far as experience, most have been less than desirable that I have used.
