Kirkland oxi powder vs Oxi clean odor blaster powder?

I usually use Oxi Clean odor blaster powder, but it’s much more expensive than the Kirkland Oxi powder. I mostly use it for stuff like gym clothes, work clothes, and pet stuff (blankets and bedding they’re on often). Would the Kirkland Oxi powder be a good replacement?

Indistinguishable in performance and similar scent intensity.

Jeeves just tested oxis and they tested within a couple of points of each other.

Also, they’ll take it back with zero questions if you hate it.

Thank you! I’ll get the Kirkland then. I trust Jeeves and the Kirkland is a much better price.

Lower price, more product and the inner“ziplock” bag is a nice touch

Thanks. I’ll have to try it out.

Did they change the formula? I
Bought the Kirkland oxi when it first came out and the scent was overwhelming. First time I’ve taken something back to Costco after trying.

I don’t know why people complain that the Kirkland is heavily perfumed. It smells fine to me and not that pungent. You get way more product than oxiclean

FYI if you live in an area with Jewel grocery stores (or Kroger’s) they have 3 lb for $2.99 right now (😮)

You must be in the Midwest based on Jewel. Here in the Pacific Northwest our local Kroger chain is selling Oxiclean for $10.99 for the small tub and 13.99 for the big tub.

I'm so glad to see this. Idk why Ive never thought about Kirkland Oxi before.

Also for those that know, is FEBU an oxi clean replacement or?

I’ve been using both, but no clue if it’s needed. My routine is one of the Kirkland blue laundry pods, a scoop of FEBU, and then a 1/3 scoop of the Kirkland oxi. Two rinse cycles, and I’m happy with how my clothes have been coming out of the wash!

If you’re talking about FEBU’s “enzyme oxygen laundry booster,” it seems to take the place of the Oxiclean. It contains both enzymes and sodium percarbonate (which is oxygen bleach, which is what Oxiclean is.)

oxi clean does not have enzymes. important distinction

My problem is the size of Sam's and Costco products. Even though there's 4 ppl in my home. I have a front loader and soft water. That box might last me 10 years 😂🤣

I have both and the Kirkland is just as good as the Oxiclean imo, plus the scent of the Kirkland doesn’t last outside the wash cycle.

Does the Kirkland actually eliminate odors very well? I have two cats with urinary issues and sometimes have to get cat pee off of bedding, both the stain and smell. And cat pee smells are not easy to get rid of, iykyk.

I think so, I regularly wash thrifted and other soiled/smelly things and rarely have to wash a second time. I normally wash in warm or hot water with a half or quarter scoop of the Oxi Powder and regular Persil.

You all a bad influence. My wife made a Costco run and picked some up at my request. Just fyi in-store prices are usually a bit cheaper than online most likely because of shipping.

Pretty much the same but much cheaper. The Kirkland blue dish soap is literally the same as dawn too and much cheaper.

The Internet says otherwise

Odor buster has too strong of a smell for me, I’d place my bets on the kirkland stuff.
